[0.755 lb] I was nervous about this produce before buying, due to the nature of adapting Canon EF lens mounts - but it is easy to install and the back focus was spot on. It comes with the correct (blue) shim already on the PL mount. I have only used this with Canon Sumire primes, so I can only speak to back focus being correct with no adjustments for this lens and it is Canon. The mount is super solid. Much better than the screw on Sony E mount to PL adapters I used with my FS7. Took 15 mins to swap mounts. Having EF and PL options takes away my stressing about cine lens options with this cam. I know I can get whatever lens I need, from any rental source for a shoot.

[0.755 lb] This is the real deal this mount - once you are super careful following the directions you now have in 10 minutes a EF or PL c300 ii - so useful depending on the shoot

[0.755 lb] Canon sells an expansion unit that adds V-Mount support and quite a lot of bulk to the camera for $1600. It's a bad solution for those who would like to just have the V-Mount option without the extra stuff.

Mounting a V-Mount on a plate that is supporter by rods is another option, but it's not elegant and assumes that the camera has a baseplate with a rod system.

This solves it by just mounting it on the back of the camera with just 2 screws. Nothing to remove, nothing else to add. The ability to hot swap batteries because it can swing away is just the icing on the cake.

I'm not a big fan of Wooden Camera products, but they really nailed this product.

[0.755 lb] I love this V-Mount plate. I use it on my C500MK2 and it does not take too much space on the back. The only thing I don't like is that when you use it with a V-Mount battery, the screen shows 12DC and does not give you where the battery is. I wish it would show me my V-Mount battery status.

[0.755 lb] Not quite as versatile as the original mount, but A LOT smaller and lighter!! Mounts the monitor to either side, or centered over the handle, with a much improved microphone mount. You can easily and quickly remove the microphone mount as needed instead of having to fiddle with the factory tiny screws. Love it.

[0.755 lb] This battery adapter works perfectly. Mount it on the back of the camera with included screws, plug in the 4 pin and go. It's a simple machine - no frills like lens power or anything like the EU-V1 but this is way cheaper and provides reliable power to the camera with a D-tap to power an accessory.

[0.755 lb] Glad I got this for my c100 mkII, handle feels much more secure than the original mount. Lots of places to attach externals, fairly low profile, allowed me to move my mic to the side which cut down on the overall size of the camera substantially. Now it fits in the bag with the mic on, so I can hit the ground running. Would recommend-

[0.755 lb] Very simple but robust design. Not a fan of the weird Canon mount that comes with the camera. This mount is very similar to how RED mounts their monitor.

[0.755 lb] Hard to complain: attaches super securely to the hotshoe, gives you multiple, useful mounting points, doesn't cost a lot. Highly recommended to swap top handle with something more secure, rail mounts, monitors, whatever you've got.
