The Singular Sound Breakout MIDI Cable for G2M (Version 3) converts the MIDI out of the G2M into a MIDI out and a MIDI in. The MIDI out is essentially a through, so you can continue to connect the G2M to your synths. The MIDI in lets you send MIDI controllers to the G2M to control your performance. The cable supports MIDI hold, sustain, and volume MIDI messages.

A: There are a few things that you'll need to do in order to run audio from a Tascam or Zoom recorder into one of these Blackmagic cinema cameras. After testing, we've discovered the cameras only support a true balanced audio signal. You may use the Hosa HMP-006Y cable to connect from an audio recorder into a line balancer such as the Ebtech LLS-2 (B&H# EBLLS2), at which point the audio signal will be compatible with what the camera is expecting. You would also need two balanced 1/4 cables. With all this said and done, frankly the best audio you will get will be the audio being recorded directly into the Zoom or Tascam recorder. If you plan on using the Blackmagic audio as a scratch audio track for reference, then you may consider moving forward with my suggestions.

Q: 2. Is this cable meant to split a stereo signal into separate left and right channels, or does it send the same stereo signal across both left and right? The word 'stereo' in the title and the fact that the 1/4 ends are color coded is whats confusing me.

A: This cable features a stereo 3.5mm jack that splits to 2 mono 1/4 connectors. There are a few uses for this cable. If you feed the 3.5mm jack a stereo signal it will give you left on one of the 1/4 jacks and right side on the other.

A: Yes it is. This cable will connect your indie 7 monitor to the Red Komodo.

A: The ART M-Connect Midi to USB cable is a plug and play product. If you are unable to establish communication, make sure any drivers necessary for your keyboard are installed, your keyborad is set to transmit MIDI data, and your DAW software is able to receive MIDI via USB.

A: The latency is very minimal. MIDI Latency5 ms (E6) to 19 ms (E2), 32 ms (E1)

A: Hi,The cable it's self does not provide p48V but when connected to the 7 Atomos monitor recorders you can select the option in the audio menu to turn on the Phantom power.

[1x MIDI Male] Great for experimental/noise. You can really pass any audio through here for effects. Had varying luck using it in a more conventional context but the tracking can be pretty wonky and imperfect. Plug a distorted mic in with a boat load of feedback though, and there's a lot of potential here. If you want polyphonic perfection you need to spend a lot more but a very capable piece of machinery none the less. 5

[1x MIDI Male] Product works as described. Shipping was fast and packing was perfect. Not a knock at all but I found you don't need the Sonnus midi cable. I ended up getting the Roland midi to usb to hook upto my laptop. Lots of fun playing the synth patches in my DAW. 5

[1x MIDI Male] Great for the price, it's lacking polyphony(you can only play one string at the time), but even by more expensive units that I have (Axon, Roland) that function isn't perfect. So if you are guitar soloist and love to play other instruments, this could be your answer, in this price range off course . Chromatic switch is very helpful if playing piano, accordion or any other instrument that doesn't need pitch(string) bend. I'm connected midi out into Yamaha arranger and there is very little latency. Overall, very happy with the unit. 5
