Ultra-wide prime is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 16.5mm equivalent focal length.

Two aspherical elements and one ultra-high refractive index glass element help to control distortion and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and accurate rendering.

Three extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and color accuracy.

Impressively wide 126° angle of view pairs with a rectilinear design, which renders subjects with minimal distortion in order to suit landscape and architectural applications.

Manual focusing design is benefitted by an integrated focusing tab for intuitive handling and a minimum focusing distance of 7.5" suits working with close-up subjects.

Built-in petal-shaped lens hood helps to prevent stray light from causing lens flare and also offers some physical protection to the lens's front element.

Front of the lens is threaded to accept optional 62mm filters. The lens is also compatible with an optional, dedicated 100mm filter holder.

Five-blade diaphragm produces distinct 10-point sun stars and specular highlights when stopped-down and photographing point light sources.

[Manual Focus] The uploaded image did not publish in the previous review....

Photographed with a Panasonic Lumix S5 in Panoramic Format 2-1 Aspect Radio. The TTArtisan 11mm 2.8 offers excellent colours, contrast & sharp images for an ultra wide lens at this price point.

[f/4.5] Having read two reviews, one bad one good I was wondering what I would think of this lens. I would say as in the good review critical focus may be important when working up close. But for anything @ distance I found f11-f8 @ infinity and everything as close as 3ft was amazingly sharp. A great lens for landscape, especially if its LARGE & close. Canyon walls etc.

[f/22] I would recommend this lens for sure the build quality is amazing the image is crisp and clear and allows me to get angles that I never could before beyond conventional 12 mm Ultra Wide sometimes I was always hitting up against the 12 mm now I can push right past it and allow my creativity to not be hampered by the limitations of the optics. if I want to go wider I can!

[62 mm (Front)] Basically, this is the widest zoom lens you can buy -- which makes it great, but also difficult to use well. What's so hard?

Well, let's start with focus. I love manual focus, and it works great with this lens, but don't assume that everything is always in focus. The depth of field is huge, but finite. Failure to focus rarely gives a blurry image, but it will give poorer resolution. Worse still, you might not notice looking at the EVF image or LCD. I've seen reviews that say this lens isn't very sharp, and I'm pretty sure it's simply that they didn't quite have things in focus -- sharpness is fine on my 42MP A7RII.

Another reason this lens needs to be used carefully is that 10mm is amazingly wide -- actually comparable to the widest rectangular view you could extract from a 16mm rectangular fisheye. If you don't get close to your subject, it'll seem miles away. There's also going to be a lot of background in your images, so you need to pay close attention that none of the background stuff will distract from your image.

In summary, you need to be very intentional about using this lens in order to get what it promises. However, if you do that, it's fantastic for getting perspectives no other lens can offer.

The 10-18mm range allows a very useful choice of ultrawide perspectives. Distortion is minimal for such a wide lens, and flare is well controlled with nice sunstars. Resolution is fine for 42MP FF and 24MP APS-C. The lens feels very solid and operates smoothly, although it would be nice if there were more difference in feel between the focus, zoom, and aperture rings. The metal lenscap is a nice and reassuring touch.

Complaints? The focus distance scale is wrong -- I suspect they are allowing for somebody trying to use the lens without a rear filter mounted (which should always be there).

[62 mm (Front)] This is fun lens, super-wide and it performs quite well. Not a lens to be used for Milky Way shooting, but great for landscapes or normal night photography, including star trails. Coma is fairly well controlled with its smallest f/5.6 aperture. If you are comfortable using fully manual lenses, this is a nice addition, very compact in the bag!

[f/4.5] Get Those WAPs ( wide angle photos ) This is my first laowa Lens and I am not Disappointed. From all of the testing I've Done all the edges are straight and legit no Distortion on this bad boy. at f/4 there is slight vignetting but disappears at f/5.6, IF you're like me and using this for Real Estate this is the lens for you on Photos, f/4 for Video is a little low for Aperture in Video but if you're using a Full Frame System you should be able to push your ISO a bit more in low light situations but maybe not the best lens for Small Homes.
