A: Currently there is available the Sachtler Ace 75/2 Carbon Fiber Tripod (75mm), which is a Carbon Fiber or CF tripod system. Currently we do not have an ACE "72/2 CF". This is the same tripod that comes with the Sachtler System Ace XL MS CF system.

Q: 2. Could this used with non-Sachtler tripod leg? Maybe like manfrotto 645 Fast with Sachtler aktiv Bowl Connector(100mm)?

A: Yes, the Sachtler aktiv Slider could be used with non-Sachtler tripod legs, like the Manfrotto 645 Fast.

Q: 3. Can the head still be leveled when attached to this pin like a normal bowl, or is it static?

A: It will be static. If you use it on a slider and adaptor S2080-0005 between tripod and slider, you can level with S2080-0005.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Miller Compass 25 head?

A: No, the Sachtler aktiv Head to Slider Carriage Adapter is designed For the Sachtler aktiv 100mm SpeedSwap Fluid Head.

Q: 5. Is a bag included with the tripod legs ?

A: No, there is no bag that is included with the legs.

Q: 6. Can I use this to mount my Aktiv 8 to my Dana Dolly? What additional accessories will I need? Thank you.

A: Dana Dolly are now developing accessories for aktiv fluid heads, they will be available soon.

Q: 7. What are the dimensions, specifically the thickness?

A: We bought this for a customer, but returned it since it was too heavy and did not fit his gyro. I took notes on the dimensions and the total thickness was around 1 1/8 inches thick. Outer dimensions are 4.89 x 2.963

Q: 8. Can Manfrotto 501 plates be used, or are there shorter Sachtler plates?

A: The Sachtler aktiv Slider to 75mm Tripod Adapter is not compatible with Manfrotto 501 style plates and Sachtler does not offer a smaller plate at this time.

A: The Sachtler 75/2 Carbon Fiber Tripod (75mm) is compatible with aktiv series video heads.

Q: 10. Flat fluid head to Dana dolly

A: This would work. But only with Sachtler Aktiv Heads.

[0.4 lb] I honestly don't use this all of the time because it depends on my setup for the shot I'm filming. This is one of those accessories that when you need it you're glad it's there. It works and it really makes it a breeze to mount my Aktiv 6 head on my slider in seconds and be up and running. I highly recommend this if you're using a slider setup. 5

[4.8 oz / 137 g] This little piece does its job perfectly-it adapts. Don't expect leveling capabilities from this adapter, that's not its intent. It is well built, sturdy, and reliable. Leveling is achieved with the 100mm half ball on the 100mm bowl adapter of my Dana Dolly. Easy. Quick. Simple. 5

[0.4 lb] Quick cheap and easy. Works exactly as you'd expect. Quickly screw this on your slider or cart and you have a safe home for your Aktiv head either to get the perfect shot or store the camera/head temporarily. Simple note in case you didn't realize it, this does not move like a ball head, it is a fixed flat situation even with the Aktiv head. 5
