A: The software is pre-installed. The machine runs Windows and the icon for the program is easily visible once you boot it up. The only issue is with fan noise, which could be a bit much if your talent is right near the device.

Q: 3. What is the maximum length of network cables you can use between the controller and tally lights?

A: No maximum length of network cables is explicitly defined on the Digital Arts metaSETZ TLC-8LS Tally Controller for Livestream Studio.

Q: 4. Does this work with Tilta seamless rings? They look the same size as the SmallRig ones...

A: The SmallRig A/B Hard Stop Set are designed for use with SmallRig's focus gear rings and have not been tested on other manufacturer's parts.

Q: 5. What is the weight limit?

A: They do not list a specific weight limit for this set. However it is a heavy duty solution. It will be able to handle a decent amount of weight.

Q: 6. Can you connect a replay system to this product like 3Play?

A: The 3Play solutions from NewTek are designed to work with their Tricaster systems. Another similar solution that does include instant replay would be Vmix. A similar model would be BH #SWBSTURX12G.

Q: 7. Is this keyboard wireless or wired? How far away can it be from the Livestream system?

A: It is wired, and the cable on it is about 2 1/2-3 feet. We had to use a USB extension cable on ours for our set up. Our HD550 with higher placed USB ports is on a raised desk platform, and the keyboard is on the desk. So the keyboard cable was just out of reach.

Q: 8. Will this work with Livestream Studio 6 running on a mac?

A: This will work with any version of Livestream Studio higher than version 1.3

Q: 9. How does this compare with the Surface Go control surface?

A: We bought both, the Surface Core and this keyboard (not the Surface Go, sorry). The Go seems to be a simple version of the Core. It seem's this keyboard is a must to use the software, because all the shortcuts are labeled and color coded. A normal keyboard WILL work, but if you have multiple users, rotating new users (church) it lengthens the learning curve. This keyboard makes quick work for occasional users, lets you focus on production instead of remembering which key is for what, or creating a cheat sheet... You can operate the system WITHOUT the Surface, using only the keyboard and software, but, navigating the software with only a mouse is not quite as easy as using the Surface. The Surface allows for quick easy camera selections, smooth transitions and MUCH easier to sit someone new in the chair and train them. I would HIGHLY recommend both pieces if you can get them. Hope this helps :)

Q: 10. Can this unit broadcast both HDMI and SDI at the same time? Also, can two display monitors be used to monitor in addition to the program out(s)?

A: Both outputs are live and may be used simultaneously.

[Download] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia! 5

[Download] Ive only scratched the surface of Emotional Violins features, but it already has proven useful in two recent projects. It sits well in the mix on top of other orchestra string libraries. It has more than two dozen articulations that gives it a realistic sound. Well done. 5

[Unlimited Users] I guess Hive is and will mostly be used in Trance music productions, but its absolutely stellar sound quality would be a waste if not used in most of any other genres of electronic or electronic-acoustic music productions as well. I highly recommend it! 5

[Unlimited Users] I bought this for the uniquely warm and dynamic electrical sounds it offered, unlike anything I had heard before. The software offers immediately accessible controls to alter the sound quite a bit, and these controls are easy to work with. The real challenge is under the hood, which offers an unbelievably intricate array of choices to make to fine-tune presets and create sounds from scratch. Given the complexity of this challenge, some who are interested in the sounds of Waverazor might consider its simpler version, Miniraze, as an alternative. 5
