The Remote Audio HN-7506 High-Noise Isolating Headphones are designed for location sound recordists monitoring in environments with extreme noise levels.

The custom design of the HN-7506 earpieces features a set of the 40mm drivers found in Sony's popular MDR-7506 headphones, ensconced in a pair of specially baffled, lightly damped elliptical shells, providing an astonishing 40 dB of attenuation in the voice range, combined with the clarity and frequency response necessary for critical monitoring.

The result of the HN-7506 design is not only a vastly improved monitoring and mixing perspective, but also diminished listening fatigue and long-term ear damage. These headphones are also recommended for live music recording and mixing, for eventual broadcast or commercial distribution.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much does this weigh (without mic or fur)?

A: The Rycote 010324 Windshield Kit weighs 380g.

Q: 2. Is it good for ME67 with K6?

A: The Sennheiser CASELONGMKH is designed for the Sennheiser MKH-416/MKH-60 and will not work with the ME67/K6. As an alternative, you may consider the Alfa Case MFR# 20018MTLB.

Q: 3. Does the windjammer come with the old drawstring or the new elastic band?

A: In March 2020, it uses the new elastic band.

Q: 4. Would I be able to put put the Rycote pistol grip on this blimp?

A: Yes

Q: 5. Will it work with Sound Devices 302 as well? I Know theres one Breakaway cable intended for FP33 and SD 302, but I would like to know if this one has same capabilities as the mentioned and also has timecode in it.

A: It will work as an audio output tethered to camera via XLR. But the timecode side of things will not be usable as the 302 does not have a timecode function. The return into the 302 should work, but I've never personally tested it.

Q: 6. Does this have enough clearance to mount an MKH 418?

A: No. The Rycote 010324 Windshield Kit is intended for use with microphones that are 9.84" (250 mm) long and between 0.75 to 0.98" (19 to 25 mm) in diameter. The Sennheiser MKH 418S Stereo Shotgun Microphone is 11" (280 mm) long with a 0.75" (19 mm) diameter, so it is too long for this particular windshield. As a compatible model for the MKH 418S, you can use the Rycote 086069 Modular Windshield Kit WS 3 with XLR-5F and Connbox CB4 (B&H # RYMWS3STKIT).

Q: 7. I have a Sound Devices 788T and want to get a break-away that also sends timecode. This looks like the only one. Will it also work with the 788T? By looking at the picture, I can assume it will--with minor adaptation. 1) I already have TA3 to XLR cables for the mixer outputs and 2) would just have to adapt the 1/8 TRS back to TA3 or XLR and use an input channel to monitor return--or get a switcher box and use the 1/8 straight out. Am I making all the right assumptions here? Safe to buy? :-)

A: Can't see why it wouldn't work the way you've described. You could also have Pro Sound or Gotham Sound in NYC make you a custom end for the 788 for this.

Q: 8. this blimp has enough room inside for the ambient emesser 308?

A: As the Ambient Recording Emesser ATE308 Figure-8 Microphone is quite small in its form factor, the Rycote Windshield Kit for Sennheiser MKH 416 and Select Shotgun Microphones would provide more than enough room to house it within.

Q: 9. Does this product (Porta Brace ATV-633 Audio Tactical Vest for Sound Devices 633) come along with the bag for the 633? I know the title says Tactical Vest but the pictures show the bag and nowhere in the description does it say that the bag is not included or that the bag is sold separately.

A: The bag at the front is included as part of the vest/harness and fits the Sound Devices 633 and Zaxcom MAXX.

Q: 10. Is there enough room inside to fit a Sennheiser EW 500 plug on wireless transmitter attached to a Sennheiser 416 mic?

A: Unfortunately not,

[6' / 1.8 m] This is a must have when doing any kind of locked-down interviews - allows you to send timecode, a LR mix as well as monitor the camera return. The cable is very sturdy and well built, and feels like it’ll be able to take some abuse out in the field. Get one!

[1.73 lb] I absolutely love this bag. It has some shortcomings and minor problems. But Overall, I belive this to be the best sound bag you can buy right now.

[Dynamic] Outstanding cable, super useful in the field.

[Closed-Back] It's clear that this was made for a professional sound mixer. The length is perfect, it has the carabiner on the mixer side for strain relief and the velcro strap on the other side does the same thing for camera and also wraps it up at the end of the day. It's a cable, and it passed audio and timecode just like a decent cable should, so I don't have much to add there. It's worth the price tag.

[Stereo] If you have a 633 this is must have. Plain and simple. Even if using wireless hops, there is always a need for a wire. Having the added Timecode built in with a return is absolutely amazing.

[1.73 lb] This cable is perfect for production work, although the TCG is one direction only (from mixer to camera). The cable seems to be engineered with the working professional in mind, it is pliable yet durable with the only exception being the headphone jack on the camera side which feels a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the cables.

[Closed-Back] Got this after much deliberation between purchase of an Orca or a Stingray. I happen to find a deal on a harness for this bag, which made the decision easier. Love the aluminum framework to keep things protected and stable. Holds any of the above mixers, but also has loads of room for a MixPre 10 II. Easy access on all sides. Very happy with this bag, and with B&H service and shipping!

[Closed-Back] Fits like a glove. Will fit other similar size mixers. I like the the side panels help transfer some of the weight of mixer to my hips.

[63 Ohms] I use my 633 for single camera interviews and run-and-gun work. I need a cable that sounds good and can take a beating sometimes. Remote Audio has made a great, robust cable. The connection between the camera end and the rest of the cable is solid and releases easily and the 90 degree BNC out for TC is a nice touch. At 20', the cable is a little short at times, but it is by no means a deal breaker. It might seem pricey at nearly $300, but I will tell you it is worth the investment. It quickly became a vital part of my 633 kit.

[Black] This works great and provides exactly what you need for run-and-gun shoots or interview setups. I wish it was cheaper, but it does seem high quality.
