A: It depends on your A/C specifications. This unit is rated for 12A according to manufacturer but to be on the safe side you would want to keep it to no more than 10A. Also, not all A/C units will turn on and start working when power is added to it, sometimes you still have to manually press a button, either on the unit or a remote.

A: Control/scheduling of these TP-Link HS103 devices would be via theTP-Link Kasa Smart app for iOS or Android. They are not accesible from within the Alexa app.

A: No, the bulb does not use a bayonet style base. It utilizes an A19 screw-type base.

Q: 4. Does this equipment only work with 110 volts? Does not work with 220?

A: The TP-Link KP405 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug-In Dimmer (BH # TPKP405) requires an input voltage that conforms to US standards (110 - 120V, 60Hz)..

A: No you would need the outdoor version KP400 which we do not have at this time.

A: The TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch (6-Pack) BH #TPHS200P32K (B&H Kit) is a single pole, one-way switch.Neutral wire is required.

Q: 8. What is the range? can you use it upstairs and connect to the router/modem on the first floor?

A: There are no stated range specifications. These items should have no problem working between floors.

Q: 9. Can they be used in outdoor fixtures?

A: As long as it is an enclosed waterproof fixture. In general this will work anywhere that you can place a regular bulb.

[2.4 GHz] I have about 20 of these smart plugs and they are great. I use them for holiday lights and some lamps around the house. Super easy to set up using the app. Works with my SmartThings and Alexa for easy automation. 5

[1x 3-Prong] Oh boy these have been a real treat to use. I like them especially for floor lamps that have thumb wheel on-off switches. No more bending over to turn those on and off. I also have a stand light behind a sofa that has nice foot controlled power switch, which I don't need to get to any more with this device. 5

[1x 3-Prong] Works great, sometimes takes a second or two but always works, simple to set up and update. Works well with Google Home and makes nightlights, christmas lights, fans and humidifiers easy to control and set timers. 5

[120 VAC, 60 Hz] Works as claimed. Missed concept of connecting my phone to plug's wifi directly for setup, but once I got that all went easy. Don't have smart house, but these allow me to control items I need, while not at home. The schedule system is perfect, & remote access does its job with no glitches. Also use one to turn on my subwoofer from the couch & turn it off automatically when I go to bed, so I don't forget. Very pleased. 5
