[AC Input] I needed a power supply for a musical-instrument device that I bought used. This power supply met all the technical requirements (and its price was much lower than elsewhere), except that its plug had an incorrect center-pin diameter (I wish the listings for such devices included that spec; they seldom do). Luckily I had a power supply with the right plug that I don't need; I spliced that power supply's cable onto this one since I have the necessary tools and skills. It's now doing the job! 5

[1] This was a direct replacement for one that was 5 years old and didn't survive a bad thunderstorm. Install took no time at all and now it's out of sight, out of mind - the way it should be. Delivery was very quick as well so our downtime was ultimately not bad at all. 5

[0.88 lb] I used the supply to power 2 G4 style LED under counter lamps. They are 12-volt LEDs that I wired in parallel and each use 240mA so the 500mA rating of this PS was perfect. 5
