A: I just measured my cable, and each fan is approximately 2' and the bundled segment is about 6', so the total length (XLR male to XLR female) is the advertised 10'. You do not get a "bonus" 4' due to the two fans -- their length is included.

A: The Sescom SES-XLR-RGAB2 is an A/B switch, so only one output can be active at one time.

[Yes] I was interested in the possible sound quality difference between this 50' cable and a really short one (3 to 18). I did a test recording in stereo with the left channel using my really short one (Kopul Coiled 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Cable (3 to 18)) and the right channel using this 50' cable coiled on the floor. I kept mics and recorder exactly the same for the experiment and rotated my setup in the room halfway through in case there was one side of the room that was better than another. By ear I can detect no difference between the two sides in the recording. Both had no discernible hiss when recording a vocalist. Fantastic!! 5

[13.2 lb] Just hooked it up and so far is functioning well. The shorter length is just what I needed. In fact it could have been shorter but it worked out just fine. Love the color coded wires. Great for the price too. 5
