Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens work on Fuji xt 4 or do you need converter?

A: The Fujifilm cameras use a different mount than the one on this lens. This would not mount directly on the Fujifilm cameras. This is also designed for a smaller size sensor. We do not have any lens adapters to adapt Micro Four Thirds Lenses to the Fujifilm X mount.

Q: 2. What is the front ring thread size?

A: The Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 25mm f/0.95 Lens for Micro Four Thirds (Black), B&H # MI2595PSFEM, as 43mm front filter threads.

Q: 3. Anyone have compatibility issues using this with an Olympus e-m5 Mark II body?

A: This lens is for MFT bodies. Since MFT was a joint design by Olympus and Panasonic, you can expect full compatibility with this lens and that camera. Don't believe me?Here is a review on this lens: Fast, Sharp and Gorgeous on the Silver E-M5 II By Scott Surprisingly sharp wide open if you nail the focus. Stop down a tad (1.2 or 1.4) for best results. This lens, in silver, looks like it was specifically designed for the E-M5 II Silver version. Rather a lot like the Zeiss 35 1.4 Distagon. Huge bang for the buck in m43.

Q: 4. Is this a full-frame lens for E-mount camera?

A: Yes, this is a full frame Sony E-mount lens.

Q: 5. Does this lens transmit EXIF data to the camera?

A: I'm sorry, no, it does not.

Q: 6. Is this similar to a Rokinon Cine lens? What is the difference with a Cine lens?

A: It is a basic photography manual focus lens, you can use it for video but with limited movement because the focus is very sensitive, Cine lenses usually much bigger in size, and they come with smooth focus. but The Mistaken advantage is the F/0.95

Q: 7. I use a7rii and want to buy this with FotodioX Lens Mount Adapter for Micro Four Third Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera . Is it still going to be full frame if I use this lens?

A: No. As per comment from Alec G., you will experience heavy vignetting. I am using this lens on a Sony a6000which has an APS-C sensorand I experience noticable but for me still acceptable vignetting. You will certainly experience much heavier vignetting on a full-frame camera like a a7rii.

Q: 8. Does it work with Sony emount?

A: No, the Sony E mount is a different mount. This lens is for cameras that have a Micro Four Thirds mount.

Q: 9. Is it compatible with Olympus omd em5 mark 2?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the EM5 II, but not with the first EM5. Loving this lens so far!

Q: 10. Since this has a extruded rear element would this fit on a GH-4 body?

A: I bought this for my GH4 and works fine, beautiful lens!

[65°] I use this lens for portraits in restaurants and as my generic indoor lens. It has the qualities necessary to keep the camera and lens combination small when I needed to attend social functions and wanted to photograph the events. The photos are acceptable and the lens provides the ability to use exposure speeds necessary for photographing people who are moving during the event.

[Manual Focus] This lens is one of the most dense little things I have ever held (and actually not that little). It is, however a remarkable lense. The lense takes sharp, defined, and well contrasted images with a workable focal plane, not a circle in the middle of the frame. You only have to stop it down if you want to increase the focal plane. You might not have it on you always because of the weight, but you will be glad when you do.

[58 mm (Front)] Hard to beat for the cost. fast, cheap and in control - even wide open. Paired with GH5 in body stabilizer and 1250 iso I can shoot in places my GH4 could not go.

[f/0.95] I am not a pro-photographer, and use this lens to stream with my ZCam 4c camera. Works well for that purpose, and in my opinion, the image quality is great.

[58 mm (Front)] I bought this lens on the back of several reviews on YouTube. I was not disappointed. I have been able to take pictures in low light without much difficulty and recently created a video of a local folk group during a nighttime performance. Very little noise and lovely crisp pictures/video.
I haven't taken it off the camera since I bought it as it is such a delight to work with. Would highly recommend it to anyone as it is incredibly priced for the quality you get.

[f/0.95] i owned the the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 and the Panasonic f/1.4 but i was never happy with the results. i hesitated a long time before deciding to try this Speedmaster. I don't regret it. it produce a more organic and analog look to the image. manual focus is easy, colors and contrasts are impressive. i never tried the Voigtlander nor the Olympus f/1.2 but i don't need to, this lens is what i needed. bonus : the Olympus metal lens cap fits perfectly on it.

[8, Rounded] I use this on a GH5 and I'm impressed. Sharpness at f.95 looks very good, especially center of frame. I was using the Canon 1.8 STM 50mm with a Viltrox EF-M2 lens adapter, which allowed me to stop down to f1.3, but the image I was getting was fairly soft. Bought this to replace it, albeit a bit wider than the 50mm (1.6x crop w/ Viltrox) but the image looks much sharper. Was also impressed with the build quality. It's a compact lens but it has some weight to it. Feels very sturdy and aperture and focus rings turn smoothly with clickless aperture. All and all, I would definitely recommend for someone that may be a little skeptical because of the price. Oh yeah, the little case it ships in is a nice touch, too.

[65°] A quality lens for the price, sharp images, bright in low light, great DOF. DOF is actually too extreme for some shots, but works well in the right shot. I enjoy these manual controls. I will use this more for stills, and likely stick with my Lumix 12-60 Dual OIS lens for video most of the time. Using this lens makes me more interested in going out to shoot and try interesting shots, and that pushes me to better results.
