A: This is a 1000 Watt system. A pair of these with at least one Bose F1 Powered Subwoofer (B&H # BOF1SW) will blow away a pair of 15' JBL EON's and do it with better mid-range detail and far better angles of coverage. Without the sub, the lows are tight and clean but not full enough most musical applications. With two subs this may be an incomparable system, period. At any rate the arrays without the subs get very loud for a gymnasium set-up.

A: I assume you are speaking of the powered models. Yes. Take an XLR out of the mixer to the input of the 812 and set for 'line level'. Position the 'EQ' switch to 'with sub'. Connect the outpout of the speaker to the sub input.
