Connect high-speed USB peripherals to your compatible NAS or desktop computer with the QNAP QXP-10G2U3A 2-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A PCIe Card. By installing this card into an available PCIe 2.0 slot, you'll be able to transfer data with USB compatible storage at up to 10 Gb/s, which is twice the speed of the previous generation, while remaining backward compatible with lower speed devices. Other features include support for USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP) for fast file transfers, in addition to overcurrent detection and short-circuit protection to help prevent damage. For convenience, a low-profile bracket comes pre-installed and a full-height bracket is included. The QXP-10G2U3A works with select QNAP NAS systems in addition to Windows 8/10 and Ubuntu desktop 20.04 LTS computers without needing any additional drivers.

[PCIe 2.0 x2] This is the only adapter that could maximise my USB port on my NAS (DS918 ) and connect to my pc. Bought 2 as my pc doesn't have spare pcie slots. USB C was the only way to go. Good stuff! 5

[Low-Profile] I got this for a PC that had no free slots for a 10 gigabit Ethernet card. It installed automatically on Windows 10 and has been perfectly reliable for the first couple weeks. Very solid performance at 5 gigabit. 5

[Low-Profile] Many reviews mention problems on MacOS, but it works without problem on MacOS 10.15 and 11, just be sure to install the driver, restart and that's it. The adapter is immediately recognized and provides read speeds up to 430MB/s and write up to 350MB/s. Not the full 5Gb speed but much better than Gigabit. Construction is solid, it gets warm but not super hot. A usb-C to usb-C cable would be better than the included usb-C to usb-A. 5

[PCIe 2.0 x2] Using in SOHO Hi Speed Network for Touch screen Desk PC's, Laptops, etc. where installing a Hi Speed NIC is not a solution. Great for 5G/2.5G/1GbE network speeds. Auto-switching. Using Cat6 cables. 5

[Low-Profile] This adapter gives you good connections at 5Gb, 2.5Gb and below, as long as you have USB 3.1 from either a USB-A or USB-C port. You may need to download and install the driver from QNA-UC5G1T - Download Center ' QNAP (US) before the adapter will be recognized. It gets slightly warm with use, so make sure you don't bury it under other cables and components. You'll want a genuine Cat6A cable and the appropriate SFP adapter for a full 5Gb connection. 5
