The cameras rest upside down at the right and left hips so they can be quickly raised for use. Even when connected to two large cameras with their attached lenses, the harness remains comfortable to wear due to its resilient and breathable mesh pads which cushion the back and shoulders. The pads' combination of 500D nylon, curved TPE foam, and poly air mesh construction optimizes air circulation between you and the harness, which wicks perspiration and moisture in warm and hot conditions.

To attach to a camera or a lens, the harness straps feature a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe and a swivel locking carabiner. The FastenR Breathe connects to the 1/4"-20 tripod mount on your camera or lens for a solid mounting point. Each metal carabiner has a Lockstar protector that prevents it from scratching the finish of your camera or lens. To ensure your gear is protected, BlackRapid also includes two safety tethers.

The length of each strap is adjustable up to 63" and measures up to 1" wide. Spring-loaded cam locks can be moved up or down the length of the strap to make it easy to limit excess camera movement when you're not using them. For optimum comfort and security when you're moving quickly, there is a front sternum strap that prevents the pads from shifting.
