Designed for fast shooting and versatility, the BlackRapid Double Camera Harness, in a multi-terrain camouflage pattern, is the ideal solution for event photographers, music shooters, or press, fashion, street, sports, and wildlife photographers.

It accommodates up to two cameras if you need options while shooting without stopping, or you can reconfigure it as a single-camera sling for even more speed and maneuverability. The cameras rest upside down at the right and left hips so they can be quickly raised for use. Even when connected to two large cameras with their attached lenses, the harness remains comfortable to wear due to its resilient and breathable mesh pads which cushion the back and shoulders. The pads' combination of 500D nylon, curved TPE foam, and poly air mesh construction optimizes air circulation between you and the harness, which wicks perspiration and moisture in warm and hot conditions.

To attach to a camera or a lens, the harness straps feature a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe and a swivel locking carabiner. The FastenR Breathe connects to the 1/4"-20 tripod mount on your camera or lens for a solid mounting point. Each metal carabiner has a Lockstar protector that prevents it from scratching the finish of your camera or lens. To ensure your gear is protected, BlackRapid also includes two safety tethers.

The length of each strap is adjustable up to 63" and measures up to 1" wide. Spring-loaded cam locks can be moved up or down the length of the strap to make it easy to limit excess camera movement when you're not using them. For optimum comfort and security when you're moving quickly, there is a front sternum strap that prevents the pads from shifting. When you're not using the harness, you can safely store it in its included polyester dust bag.

Q: 1. Do the straps expand/stretch? Or do I need to remove the camera every time in order to use it?

A: The straps do extend to fit each individual frame. Q: 2. can I modify it to carry a Gimble?

A: I'm sure you can , if the Gimble has 1/4-20 threads you can do it without any problem

Q: 3. How large of a lens camera combo can the strap handle? Shooting a Nikon Z9 with the 400mm f/2.8 prime lens.

A: No. Your lens and combo is not a good fit for any blackrapid straps. We highly suggest transporting the lens with the strap provided as the lens offers integrated lens strap support.

Q: 4. How about stocking the required QD socket or gives some specs. A quick search turned up nothing. The strap is incomplete without it and should come with the socket?

A: The Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling attaches to 3rd party QD sockets as found on the Kirk KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket, BH # KIKLP260V2

Q: 5. How much weight can be carried with this system? I currently have a Canon 5D mkIV with battery grip and 70-200 for one side, and a 7d mkII with battery grip and 300mm f2.8 for the other side. Needless to say, it's a good bit of weight and a lotta bit of $$$. Will typically be walking around at racing events for 8-10 hours easily. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A: Up to 10lbs. on each side.

Q: 6. How does this harness adjust to a single camera ?

A: This Blackrapid Double Camera Harness works best when holding two camera, but it could hold a single camera that's using a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe, BH # BL363001. https://bhpho.to/3ByrEwY

Q: 7. I will be going to Antarctica will the double harness have any problems being worn over a thick jacket?

A: Yes. The BlackRapid Double Breathe Camera Harness can be worn over a jacket.

Q: 8. How much camera\lens weight can this handle ?

A: Unfortunately, Black Rapid does not publish a specific weight limit for this strap, however they do state that all their straps are rated for professional level cameras.

Q: 9. CAN THE QD SWIVEL BE REMOVED SO I CAN REPLACE IT WITH A QDM ?

A: Unfortunately you can not remove the Swivel Male QD Connector BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling.

Q: 10. Is this comparable with kirk products?

A: The BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling is compatible with kirk products that have a QD socket.

[Yes] I had a Black Rapid strap before and loved it. What I hated about it was their attachment method. Their anchor method was indeed solid but it took too many steps to get off of, and back onto the strap.
NOW with the press of one button you're off the strap. One button press and you're back on the strap. Fast and easy. Really helpful when you are going from strap to tripod and back. I love those QD connectors.

[Nylon] I have used sling straps for many years both for hiking and travel. The strap keeps the camera safe and convenient. I was pleased to see the addition of a QD attachment. So far it holds the camera solidly, but I still use the safety strap as well. Mine is attached to the newer RRS L plate which now has a QD attachment point. The strap is comfortable to wear and does not slip.

[Nylon] I use this harness for carrying a 105mm f/2.8 macro kit on the left strap and an 800mm f/6.3 telephoto kit on the right. Spring season is when the nature photographer is pulled towards shooting close-ups of wildflowers and simultaneously trying to frame migrating birds in a telephoto. This rig allows one the opportunity to go crazy attempting both!

[Nylon] This is comfortable on the shoulder. I like the way it attaches to the camera.

[0.905 lb] Bought this to use with a Nikon D850 with battery pack and 200-500 lens. It gets pretty heavy after a while. Took this out the day I got to give a try and works great. Attached to the tripod mount on the lens and it balanced well, no slipping off my shoulder, and held the camera at a good height.

[Yes] This is by far the best strap I've ever had for my camera! It is light weight, durable, and sleek. The ergonomically designed shoulder pad is non-slip, sits well onto your left shoulder and doesn't budge much when you're on the move and in action. What's equally satisfying is that whenever the camera is raised or lower, movement along the sling is smooth and does not get in your way - no obstruction at all. The only downside I can think of is, as this sling strap is designed for right-hand use (probably cos shuttle buttons/hand grips are currently used by our right hands), our left-handed photog friends may find it a little inconvenient and have to get use to it if they use this strap.

[0.905 lb] I hesitantly purchased this item after watching a video to show how easy it was to use. So glad I did. This strap works perfectly and saves my arms and back from constantly lugging my heavy camera around during sporting events.

[Yes] I was going between a camera holder that would attach to my chest or the BR camera sling strap. We were preparing to leave for a pheasant hunting trip to S. Dakota and I knew I needed something that made it easy to carry my heavy camera/ lens thru the fields. After asking several fb camera groups I was sold on this one. I was glad I did. It worked great and I was surprised how easily and quickly it was to bring my camera up to shoot as well as the weight of the camera was hardly noticeable. Great product!

[0.905 lb] This is the ultimate evolution of camera straps, and finally in black rather than tan. All my gear is now equipped with QD sockets, mostly the Kirk implementation. I've always like the BlackRapid Sport with the strap under the arm. It keeps the rig centered on your shoulder. However, I was always dissatisfied with the screw-in camera attachment or Arca-plate adaptations. Now with a QD fitting on the strap, all is convenient and secure. Do I trust QD 1000%? Well, no, only my wife qualifies for that. So I add an Op/Tech Uni-Loop Connecter. That's for possible user error, not QD weakness. (Sorry, Peak Design, I don't trust you for critical applications.) Now, for discreet travel or street shooting, I use only a wrist strap. But for everything else, it's BlackRapid, baby.
