Capture dreamy, filmlike footage with the 72mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter 10% Densityfrom Moment. Available here in a density of 10%, this diffusion filter lets you escape the clinical, ultra-sharp look of digital photography. Engineered to catch and bloom light, the filter softens hard edges and provides a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable. The ring of the filter is machined from aerospace-grade metal and designed to be thin enough to stack underneath another filter without compromising the field of view. This allows you to stack a neutral density or variable neutral density filter on top of it for shooting at cinematic frame rates and capturing motion blur.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can it be stacked in front or behind a uv filter?

A: Yes. The Moment 49mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) has 49mm front and rear threads for filter stacking.

Q: 2. Do I need to take special care when cleaning the CineBloom Diffusion Filter?

A: To clean the Moment 82mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) I would recommend a high quality micro fiber cloth and lens cleaner like this one. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1097470-REG

Q: 3. Will this fit a 50mm sony g master lens?

A: The Moment 49mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) is for lenses that have a 49mm filter thread. The only Sony 50mm lens that has that is the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 Lens. If that is the lens you have that one will fit.

Q: 4. Can I put an ND filter on top of this?

A: The Moment 82mm CineBloom diffusion filter has front-filter threads that can accommodate another filter in front of it.

Q: 5. Does this filter work well on a canon 100 macro lens?

A: This would be the appropriate size, and these filters would work very well if you're looking to soften a sharp image a little or get bloomed highlights.

Q: 6. Doest it provide WR protection to a Fujifilm x100VI, when used with the adapter?

A: The Moment 49mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) is not a weather resistant filter so it will not provide WR protection for the Fuji X100vi camera.

Q: 7. Hello! Do they offer the 49mm in the 5% density?

A: Regarding the Moment 49mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density), Moment does not have an option for 5% diffusion density at the 49mm filter size.

Q: 8. Does the filter come with a hard case?

A: Yes, the Moment 49mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (20% Density) comes inside a hard case.

Q: 9. Does Moment 82mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) wor if I am using Canon R50 with Canon RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM?

A: The Canon 55-210mm RFS lens uses 55mm filter. Moment does not make this filter in the 55mm size but you can use this 58mm version: https://bhpho.to/35ilHnH combined with this step up ring: https://bhpho.to/3KtiKoj

Q: 10. What's the difference between this filter and a Black Pro Mist Filter? Is it fair to compare them?

A: The effect is very similar with the Moment Cinebloom filters. The CineBloom diffusion filter takes the edge off your digital sensor. It not only catches and blooms light, but softens hard edges and has a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable.

[72 mm] I bought the 5% for my RF 35mm 1.8 and it does a great job at diffusing the lights but very subtly. You can barely tell and that might be a good thing depending on what you are shooting.

The filter itself is very solid. I wacked it against a railing and I thought it broke, but it actually scraped the paint off of the railing.

[Glass] After researching for a filter to soften images captured on my Fuji X100V, I purchased the 10% CineBloom filter from B&H. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. The filter does exactly what it advertises; my images have a more cinematic look that I prefer. I would certainly recommend this filter to anyone looking to achieve a softer, less digital look to photos. And as always, the B&H experience was superb!

[72 mm] I got this to go on a new lens that was a larger filter size, so I've used this (a smaller one) for 6 months. Love the look it gives to footage.

[Glass] Great filter that has a nice bloom to lights while keeping image quality. The build quality is good and what you would expect for a ring filter. My only complaint is that the 5% 82mm is out of stock so I was forced to go with a 77mm instead. It would be nice to have the 82mm to match my 10% filter size for parity.

[0.24 lb] Similar to a pro mist look but has it's own unique feel that sets it apart. the 10% is subtle, but higher percentages are available.

[Glass] I use this while shooting weddings. 5% for me is the sweet spot. Its very subtle where you really have to look for it. Due to it being so subtle one can use this in about every situation and never have to take it off. The only time one may want to consider taking it off is shooting a reception.

[72 mm] Love the dreamy glow this filter gives to my photos. Don't like how it looks at night though, maybe it does look great when used with neon lights and such but in regular light it looks odd. If you use it with sunlight, specially at the beach, it adds a glow that looks natural yet dreamy and unique.

[72 mm] There are times, notably in doing portraiture when the incredible rendition of details of the modern Hasselblad lenses can be almost excessive . . . enter the CineBloom Diffusion Filter. The 20% filter is perfect for my taste though I will get the 10% filter in the future as well that the two might be used in tandem on occasion. So, kudos to the makers at Moment, and Hasselblad, for the most remarkable tools.
