It features unique self-retracting blade technology with threaded ends to secure on the front of any lens with a filter thread size of 46-62mm. The overlapping blade design prevents unwanted light leaks. The retractable blades mount solidly on the lens. [0.205 lb] I'm super into this. I use a lot of stepping rings, but I hate them. This makes my life easier and so I approve. Minor downsides not worth it losing a star over: 1. Once you connect it, it's strong enough to hold the weight of the camera, BUT it still spins a bit, which can freak you out sometimes. 2. This thing is giant, it can't even fit in the same case as my 82mm filters. It does come with its own sleeve so that helps. 5

[Aluminum] Buying filters to adapt to all my lenses was going to be expensive. With this, all I had to buy was the adapter for the 82 and one for the 67 along with filters for those two sizes in order to cover my range of lenses. Great value and better than step up rings. 5
