Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the width of this holder 4.8" or 1.5"?

A: The width of the Spider Camera Holster Spider Monkey Water Bottle Holder (Black) is 4.8".

Q: 2. Would this work with a Canon R5 and a 70-200 RF lens?

A: Yes, the Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Harness-1 can accommodate a Canon EOS R5 equipped with a Canon RF 70-200mm Lens.

Q: 3. If I want to carry a Z8/Z9 with a 70-200 2.8 lens should I get the 10-Degree Angled Hub as well?

A: Two hubs are already included with the Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Harness-2 (Gray), so you don't need to purchase any separately. But the slight 10 degree angle of the Cotton Carrier 10-Degree Hub makes it slightly more comfortable to use with a large and heavy camera with a large and heavy lens, so you may want to get that hub, but it is not required.

Q: 4. Is the accessory loop included... can not see on the bag or in the photos?

A: It attaches to an accessory loop. The accessory loop will need to be on your bag.

Q: 5. The pictures I've seen suggest that because there is no real hip belt most of the weight will be on your shoulders. Is that true?

A: The relative distribution of the weight on one's shoulders, midsection, or even hips will depend on how long or short one makes the shoulder straps, how tightly one adjusts the belt to be, and how high or low the harness sits on one's abdomen. Having said that, as can be seen in the photos (and as I would expect), most people will probably find it most comfortable with the bulk of the weight on being on one's shoulders.

Q: 6. How long is the tether? What is the weight limit? How is it attached to a horizontal belt?

A: The length of the tether is about 16 . The Strapshot has no listed weight limit because it is engineered to hold far more weight then you would ever carry. The Strapshot has a horizontal Velcro loop to attach it to your waist belt.

Q: 7. what is the width of the accessory loop/what is the widest belt that will fit through the loop?

A: The width of the loop on the Tenba Tools Insulated Water Bottle Pouch (Black) is 1.25". The height of the loop is 2 inches.

Q: 8. Will this fit a D500 with the Nikon 500mm PF lens, while riding my bike? Or will it hang down too low to be able to pedal?

A: The camera sits in the middle of your chest, and the lens is about 10" long, so it will depend on your height and the type of bicycle you are using.

Q: 9. Hi, how much weight can it carry? I am looking for something of the sort that can hold my Pentax K1 + at least my 28-105 which in total might be around 3 pounds

A: This would support your camera with even bigger lens (70-200mm f2.8)

Q: 10. Does the top close or cinch shut with a drawstring?

A: There is no sealing method on the Tenba Tools Insulated Water Bottle Pouch.

[0.135 lb] Great addition to my belt, I put a 20 oz insulated bottle in it.

Life saver at a 14 hr shoot on a 95 degree day.

Love the clip and the release so the clip stays on the belt.

[Drawstring] I use it when Im watching grand kids play their games. It keeps my drink cold without the bulk of a cooler.

[Carabiner] I bought this to install on an old LowePro MiniMag. It works fine, and is more user-friendly than an original LowePro bottle carrier on my other bag.

[Gray] I bought one of these from a local camera store. I also had one from another popular manufacturer. The stitching tore out of that other brand, but one year of *hard* use and my Spide water holder is still going great. Now I need a new one to replace that other brand. It did take practice before I could easily clip my water. At first I would get my shirt caught in the clip. But now it is instinct... no thought needed at all.

[Carabiner] I bought two of these to try. I bought more for presents since they worked so well. We use them when working outside in the summer heat. I glass jar full of cold liquid (no ice) stays cold all day (in the shade). I have also used the Velcro tab on the back to attach it to the side of my desk, lower than the work surface, and use it as a cup holder. This keeps me from spilling my drink on the work surface. As a showing artist I use a grid system to display my work. The Velcro tab allows me to attach it as a cup holder and secure my drink without fear of knocking it over, The construction is great. Very tough and well insulated. It can be crushed down flat-ish to fit in a backpack or bag for transport or attached to the side with a bottle in it. Large, wide mouth insulated cups from Wal-Mart, large Yeti cups, 32oz glass jars of Knudson and Lakewood juices fit perfectly and larger size water bottles. You can also Velcro it on to your bike handle bars to transport your drink. Works great! I don't know what the mfg recommends but it looks like you could hand wash with a mild soap and hang to dry without problems.
