Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Which BNC connector to use? Will King's 2065-11-9 mini fit?

A: The correct connector for this cable is the following Belden https://bhpho.to/2RJYnHU -- but we only carry bulk packages of this and would highly recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly, as these are special order products and cannot be returned.

Q: 2. Does anyone use this for events? We need 150' runs of 3G SDI. Thanks

A: This cable should work well for 150 foot runs of 3G-SDI cable.

Q: 3. Will these have a snug fit on 18 AWG cable? Been looking around and most connectors don't list the gauge cable that this works with and in the past, I've been burned by blindly buying connectors and they end up not fitting.

A: This product states it is for RG-6 cabling. RG-6 is now a generic name and usually means a coaxial cable with an 18 AWG (1.024 mm) center conductor and 75 ohm characteristic impedance. I am thinking since this is generic for RG-6 you should be good. This item can be returned within 30 days of purchase date for a refund or exchange.

Q: 4. Does this crimp the BNC pin as well as the connector?

A: The Tempo 1300 Series Cable Crimper for Belden BH #TEPA1389 crimps 1855A, 1865A, 1505A, 1505F, 1694A,1694F & 179DT Belden connectors.

Q: 5. Would this cable work for the Line 6 XD-75? I know the connecters are the same, but will the signal still transmit since it is in the 2.4 GHz

A: This cable should work regardless of the transmission frequency.

Q: 6. does this come with a die?

A: Yes

Q: 7. Will this crimp Canare 75-Ohm BNC Male End Connector for L-5.5CUHD Cable ?

A: It is designed specifically for Belden cable.

Q: 8. Will this will run 6G sdi signal for 60M ?

A: The Belden 1855A Sub Miniature Video Coax 23 AWG 1000 ft Violet would likely not work such a distance carrying 6G signals. We recommend this cable. Belden 12G-SDI 75-Ohm UHD 4K Mini Coax Video Cable (1000', Black) BH #BE4855R1000B • MFR #4855R-1000-BLK

Q: 9. Is this cable RG-58 or RG-213?

A: The Hosa Technology BNC to BNC Antenna Cable is RG-58.

Q: 10. Will this tool crimp Belden 1695A?

A: Yes, I used it to crimp Kings 2065-10-9 BNC connectors on Belden 1695A. If you look at the specs of both the 1694A and 1695A you will find that the outer jacket of the 1695A has a smaller diameter than the 1694A, but it still provided a solid crimp.

[BNC Male] My cables are used in live broadcast and streaming environments and must work. I need a product I trust. One the highly positive side, they come in fancy packaging :)

[75 Ohms] Always pleased with how consistent and easy these connectors are. Never had an issue with signal loss, disconnection, or anything else.

[Compression] I’ve used other brands of BNC connectors and have regretted it each time. These connectors are reliable and easy to use. Have never had a problem.

[75 Ohms] We were desperately trying to find Belden 4694R connectors and no one had them. We were told by another vendor that these connectors would work and they did. Since we're using the 4694 cable for HD only, we'll be okay. If we upgrade to 4K, they'll probably work too because our cable lengths aren't over 150 feet. Quality connectors and extremely easy to put on cable with the Belden tools.

[RG6] I purchased this BNC for my 1855A cable.
Very happy there was a bulk buy kit instead of the silly single packs.

Has everything you need, comes in a nice hard foam pack.

Crimps perfectly with the Greenlee 1300 Series Cable Crimper for Belden. (make sure you get the Belden version!) Nice a neat crimp with just the right amount of pressure.

I used the Canare TS100U Coaxial Cable Stripper (5-in-1) (again, get Belden version) again worked well with these fittings.

I was able to run a 12G signal (4k60) with a Blackmagic Ursa mini G2 over a 3m run (haven't made a longer run yet)

Very very happy! Will buy again!
Hard to find these in Australia, so I get them from B&H!

[RG6] These are about the easiest way to terminate RG-6 for HDSDI I have used in my over 30 years of AV integration. They work just like they say, Snap and seal.

[75 Ohms] I love these ends. They are super easy to install on cable runs and they don't fail like other ends I have bought that pull back out after medium usage. The KEY thing is you need to push them in firmly after you strip the ends. LOVE THESE and highly recommend ! Just make sure you buy the Belden Snap-N-Seal PROPSAKIT Compression Tool and Stripper Kit that goes with it to make it super simple. And I always use Belden 1694A RG6 Low Loss Serial Digital Coaxial Cable and have had zero issues over the past 5 years.
