A: The LED arrays inside the Porta-Trace / Gagne 1824 Stainless Steel LED Light Box are not user-replaceable. For assistance in replacing the LED lamps, or if you have issues with the quality of the fixture, you would have to contact the manufacturer Porta-Trace / Gagne to inquire about inspecting the unit and/or sending the unit in for repair/replacement.

[Stainless Steel] I mounted this to the quick release plate of an old and heavy video tripod, so that I could use it with a super telephoto. The solution works really great because I can easily pop off the quick release to get the gimbal free from my tripod if I need to pack up quickly. 5

[Stainless Steel] It does what it's supposed to do: adapt a 1/4-20 screw to a 3/8-16 hole. This one works well for sitting flush or recessed in the hole, since it lacks a flange. 5

[0.06 lb] I picked up a slider that only had a 1/4-20 screw mount. Of course, all good tripod heads are 3/8-16, but most heads will come with an adapter. The problem is the typical adapter they come with fits inside the 3/8-16 hole to make it the smaller 1/4-20 hole. It's very easy to get those tiny adapters stuck inside. This Rock Steady adapter is so much better! The rubber pad helps keep the tripod head stable with a tight grip. It won't be impossible to remove should it get stuck (but that hasn't happened yet). This is the way to go if you need to convert a 1/4-20 to 3/8-16. 5

[0.06 lb] Well made and very solid for mounting my 3/8 device on my 1/4 tripod. Considered the adapters that were like a screw with inside and outside threads but feared it would get stuck in my device. This is very easy to install and remove. 5
