The Robus RCM-633 Carbon Fiber Monopod with SBM-001 Baseby Robus RCM-633 Carbon Fiber Monopod with SBM-001 Basequickly extends to a height of 65" with a simple turn of the twist-locks. The 6-section design provides a strong platform with minimum bending or bowing, and the sturdy, 10x carbon fiber tubes offer rigidity and strength for a stable platform while out and about on location. It supports equipment weighing up to 33 lb and is supplied with interchangeable rubber and spike feet for surefooted point of contact with the ground. The head plate features a reversible 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud for optional heads or lens collars to extend its capability. The included wrist strap provides additional security when performing one-handed operation, and the convenient belt clip allows you to quickly carry the monopod by your side or on your pack, ready for action. Additionally, the monopod folds down to 17.2" for optimal portability and storage.

The Robus RCM-633 6-section monopod extends up to 65", and the twist locks provide a simple yet secure way to extend and collapse it quickly. Rotate the locks a quarter turn to extend or lock the sections, and non-rotating leg segments allow you to extend several sections at a time.

The 10x carbon fiber tubes offer stability and strength to dampen vibrations and provide a robust shooting support and are paired with aluminum twist-lock collars for optimal strength from minimal weight.

The textured rubber grip collar offers a tactile surface that ensures a confident grip on the monopod and your camera equipment. Moisture-wicking channels provide airflow to reduce sweat and minimize slippage

A reversible mounting thread allows you to quickly switch between 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 with a simple twist of the head plate. Flip the reversible 1/4"-20" & 3/8"-16 threaded stud adapter to attach or exchange a camera, lens collar, or any type of head in just moments

A: No. Only the Oben ACM-2400L offers a removable footprint.

A: You can go hands-free. However, I would not step away from it. As a light gust will knock it over. I would not use it for long exposures.

A: The top first section is 33mm, 2nd section from top is 28mm, 3rd section is 25mm and 4th section is 22mm. The 1st section on top has a rubber ring which diameter is 36mm.

A: Yes the carrying case that is pictured would be included with the RCM-439.

A: From top to bottom it is about 30mm, 27mm, 24mm, 21.5mm, 17.5mm, and the bottom section is about 14mm.

[Twist Lock] It is just the monopode i need. Very strong, easy to stretch and it is very long. 5

[Carbon Fiber] I have 2, now 3 monopods to go with my 3 tripods. C'mon, you know photographers and videographers can never have too much gear. My other monopods are aluminum and quite good but as I'm getting older I tend to move towards the carbon fibre type. This Robus is so much better and lighter than I expected. It goes well with my Gitzo carbon fibre tripod. Honestly, I think I'm going to sell or give away my aluminum sticks to my students. It's great, it's a monopod, what else is there... 5

[Carbon Fiber] I purchased this as I was moving all of my tripods and monopods to Carbon. I wanted something that would fit my height (6 feet) and still be able to pack easily. I'm glad I picked this monopod, it does what I need it to and is very light at 1.1lbs If you're looking for a great priced Carbon Fiber monopod then look no further. I've been shooting professionally full time since June 2011. 5

[Carbon Fiber] The unit functions very well in combination with a small, compact tripod head. The light weight factor is a big plus in longer jaunts into wild areas. Compact length of the collapsed unit adds value. Carry case adds still more value! 5

[1.8 lb] I have an aluminum Manfrotto monopod, and this carbon pod weighs 1/4 as much. It is very strong, and I can find no manufacturing faults at all. I am very particular about my equipment, so I gave this an extensive exam upon arrival...passed my expectations. Locks are easy to use, smooth and very strong. I really like the large platform head with the reversable screw - fits anything. Good buy for the money. 5

[6] I use a Sigma 150-600 Sport Lense for wildlife photography and the weight of the Lense requires a stable monopod. Previous monopods just didn't provide the stability I needed. The Robus RCM-633 is a tremendously stable monopod for rugged outdoor use and it's construction is of the highest quality. I am 5'9 and the 65 length when fully extended is more than adequate for standing and photographing. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a stable, heavy duty (yet light weight) monopod. 5

[Carbon Fiber] I have several Gitzo monopods, all of which were considerably more expensive than this one. I bought it because of the price and collapsed length. Although all of the reviews for this Item rated it as a five star item, I was surprise what high quality it provided for such an affordable price. I have to agree with the previous reviewers, its a five! 5

[Carbon Fiber] I got this for one lens that I shoot with. It is very light wt and collapse down perfect for back packing. This is the second Robus support item I have. The locking ring will hold the mono pod in place with no slipping. I recommend the mono pod and would buy it again. 5
