Transmit uncompressed 1080p60, 10-bit, 4:2:2 video from up to 984' away to a Ghost-Eye receiver with the CINEGEARS Ghost-Eye Wireless 600MP HDMI/SDI System V3from CINEGEARS. It safely can transmit video using its two antennas on up to ten frequencies to other Ghost-Eye receivers that use the same level of encryption. It features one HDMI input, one 3G-SDI input, and one SDI loop output.

Whether you have a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configuration, your signal is carried with a low-latency rate of less than 1 ms over the license-free 5 GHz frequency band. Small obstacles in the line-of-sight are compensated for by an adaptive signal logarithm keeping your transmitter and receiver connected, and the transmitter also supports required AES-128/256 signal encryption. For safety, signals dropped due to interference or a loss of line-of-sight are automatically relinked within 1 ms of the obstacle being removed. The 600MP transmitter comes with an L-series battery mount and two antennas.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the atomos inferno. This is 3sdi atomos is 12sdi ?

A: Yes it will. The Atomos Inferno accepts signals up to 12G-SDI, it can accept a 3G-SDI signal as well.

Q: 2. Why would I want to buy a 200M or a 150M or any other version of the Cinegears transmitters over this one given the price point of those and this one?In other words... I'm trying to figure out why it's so inexpensive compared to similar models in the past or lesser-performing current models.

A: From the research I've done, it would seem the main difference is signal resiliency. The 600MP model receiver has no external antennae and though it has a range of 600m like it's Ghost-Eye 600M sibling, it is more susceptible to drop-out when you lose line of sight. Because the 600M has those external antennae connectors, this means it also allows connecting the large panel antenna to extend range even further. Take that info and apply it to the 200M - yes, it is only 200 meter range, but it seems the signal is more resilient to objects that would block or interfere. That might mean that in an interior situation the 200M could possibly outperform the 600MP but in an open environment with clear line-of-sight, the 600MP would operate at a range far beyond the 200m limitations of the Ghost-Eye 200M. This is all based on what I could gather on-line so hopefully the manufacturer will chime in and confirm or dispute...

Q: 3. it says you can power the transmitter via dtap butcan you power the reciever with a d tap?

A: Yes, both tx and rx can be powered via p tap to 2 pin lemo cables.

Q: 4. Can this device pass full Ancillary Data? Particularly SDI Audio Channels 15&16, the channels used for Blackmagic's CCU data. I know some of these units either compress or strip down the audio channels if they're based on WHDMI chipsets.

A: I dont believe it passes the full ancillary data, not 100% on this. Worked on a set where they requested teradeks for this exact reason.

Q: 5. Does this come with v mount or L style battery plates?

A: Actually it comes with L style plates on transmitter and receiver

Q: 6. Which receiver should I use with this transmitter?

A: The Ghost-Eye 600MP Transmitter works with the Ghost-Eye 600MP Receiver. At the time of this posting we do not sell just the receiver. However we do have this same Transmitter in a Kit with a receiver, B&H # CI6635. You may want to consider purchasing this kit for both a Transmitter and Receiver. https://bhpho.to/2BGCwu2

Q: 7. Has anyone used this with a C300mk2? Ive seen a few other systems that had compatibility issues with the Canon.

A: While we are not aware of specific testing, this system should work with the C300 Mark II. You will just need to make sure you are outputting an HD Signal from the camera. It will not process a 4K signal.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the Cinegears 150m Receiver?

A: No this is Not compatible with the Cinegears 150m Receiver

Q: 9. What is the latency of the signal?

A: Cine-Gears does not list latency. The only state "your video and audio signals get sent at industry-leading speeds from A to B." Since the B&H reviewers make no mention of latency and seem please with the performance of the equipment, we will say that you probably will be too.

Q: 10. Can the receiver output HDMI and SDI at the same time to enable a loop to another monitor?

A: Yes you can. If using a smallhd monitor you can just run one sdi out to that, and loop out of the smallhd as well.

[1x L-Series] I'm really liking this system. So far, I've pushed the distance out to a football field, with no signal loss, also used it out on the water , filming boat to boat, and inside a manufacturing facility. It didn't drop signal or get sketchy at all.
The fact that the receivers have no antennae is a big plus. I put one RX on a small monitor for director handset and I don't have to worry about the antennae get broken off by someone less careful than I.
Another great feature, that I use a lot, is loop out sdi on the transmitter and 2 sdi out on the receiver.
There are also multiple mounting points on the bottom and face of the receiver, for various mounting configurations.

The clover antennae on the transmitter look cool too, and are less likely to get broken.

[9 W] This unit is a great line of sight unit. We use it for our run-and-gun onstage shooting. We shoot concert type events for the most part but also use it for seminars, weddings, and other events. As long as you have a good line-of-sight, it works flawlessly.

Was disappointed it did not come with a power source on either end.
