Capture dreamy, filmlike footage with the 67mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter 20% Densityfrom Moment. Available here in a density of 20%, this diffusion filter lets you escape the clinical, ultra-sharp look of digital photography. Engineered to catch and bloom light, the filter softens hard edges and provides a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable. The ring of the filter is machined from aerospace-grade metal and designed to be thin enough to stack underneath another filter without compromising the field of view. This allows you to stack a neutral density or variable neutral density filter on top of it for shooting at cinematic frame rates and capturing motion blur.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the thickness of this filter, excluding the threading?

A: The thickness of this Moment 82mm CineBloom Diffuser Filter is approximately 6mm.

Q: 2. If I purchase the Polarizer Filter do I need the UV Filter also?

A: Charles;A polarizer is only good for certain times (there is no use at night for a polarizing filter or indoors), while a UV can be kept on day or night, indoors or out. Not only does it serve as a haze reducer, it is also a good protector for the front lens element.

Q: 3. Is this flammable?

A: The TRP WORLDWIDE Unbleached Muslin Diffusion Fabric (12 x 12') is not fire retardant.

Q: 4. Is the knob detachable?

A: Yes the knobs on the Hoya Variable Density II Filter are removable.

Q: 5. So this is not a CPL? In the first picture it clearly indicates it is CPL but everything else in the listing including the title suggests that it's an ND filter and not a Circular Polarizer Linear lens filter.

A: This is not a CPL, it is a solid ND. I will email the webmaster to double check on the photo.

Q: 6. Can this magnetic filter attach on top of a threaded cpl after using the magnetic base? Like using this on top of tiffen or BW cpl

A: You can threadFreewell 82mm Magnetic Quick-Swap Neutral Density 3.0 Filter on top of a Tiffen or B+W circular polarizer. Please keep in mind that the magnetic ring is only on the top ring of the Freewell 82mm Magnetic Quick-Swap Neutral Density 3.0 Filter.

Q: 7. Can the OEM Lens hood be used while filter is on? I can still use the lens hood with the old Hoya variable ND.

A: Hoya 77mm Variable Density II Filter gets in the way of the original lens hood and it cannot be used.

Q: 8. What's the difference between this filter and a Black Pro Mist Filter? Is it fair to compare them?

A: The effect is very similar with the Moment Cinebloom filters. The CineBloom diffusion filter takes the edge off your digital sensor. It not only catches and blooms light, but softens hard edges and has a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable.

Q: 9. What is Included? Magnetic UV Filter, ND Filter, Lens Cap, Microfiber Cleaning Cloth, Magnetic Hard Case?

A: Kit Includes Magnetic UV Filter, ND Filter, Lens Cap for UV Filters, Microfiber Cleaning Cloth, Magnetic Hard Case.

Q: 10. Do I need to take special care when cleaning the CineBloom Diffusion Filter?

A: To clean the Moment 82mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) I would recommend a high quality micro fiber cloth and lens cleaner like this one. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1097470-REG

[0.19 lb] Love the dreamy glow this filter gives to my photos. Don't like how it looks at night though, maybe it does look great when used with neon lights and such but in regular light it looks odd. If you use it with sunlight, specially at the beach, it adds a glow that looks natural yet dreamy and unique.

[67 mm] There are times, notably in doing portraiture when the incredible rendition of details of the modern Hasselblad lenses can be almost excessive . . . enter the CineBloom Diffusion Filter. The 20% filter is perfect for my taste though I will get the 10% filter in the future as well that the two might be used in tandem on occasion. So, kudos to the makers at Moment, and Hasselblad, for the most remarkable tools.

[67 mm] Similar to a pro mist look but has it's own unique feel that sets it apart. the 10% is subtle, but higher percentages are available.

[Glass] Great filter that has a nice bloom to lights while keeping image quality. The build quality is good and what you would expect for a ring filter. My only complaint is that the 5% 82mm is out of stock so I was forced to go with a 77mm instead. It would be nice to have the 82mm to match my 10% filter size for parity.

[67 mm] I use this while shooting weddings. 5% for me is the sweet spot. Its very subtle where you really have to look for it. Due to it being so subtle one can use this in about every situation and never have to take it off. The only time one may want to consider taking it off is shooting a reception.

[0.19 lb] After researching for a filter to soften images captured on my Fuji X100V, I purchased the 10% CineBloom filter from B&H. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. The filter does exactly what it advertises; my images have a more cinematic look that I prefer. I would certainly recommend this filter to anyone looking to achieve a softer, less digital look to photos. And as always, the B&H experience was superb!

[Glass] I got this to go on a new lens that was a larger filter size, so I've used this (a smaller one) for 6 months. Love the look it gives to footage.
