A: According to the manufacturer's website, they state the suggested speed for outdoor usage is ISO 10 in sunlight, and the suggested speed using strobe/flash is ISO 5.

Q: 9. Can this film safely go through airport x-ray machines?

A: Regarding whether the Film Photography Project Black and White Negative X-Ray Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) can go safely through airport X-ray machines, most film is safe under 400 ISO. However, I would still ask for a hand check.

Q: 10. I don't understand the FPP instructions on loading the sheet film holder; the emulsion is doublesided; is there a preferred way?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Film Photography Project Black and White Negative X-Ray Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) is notched like traditional 4x5 film. That being said, as it has double-sided emulsion, you should be able to load the film in any direction. As the film is blue-light sensitive, if you so choose, you may visually load and unload the film in a darkroom under a red safe-light such as the Delta 1 Brightlab Universal Red Junior Safelight 11 Watt, B&H # DESLJ. https://bhpho.to/3Issmhv

[0.07 lb] Typically shoot HP5, TriX, Acros, etc so ordered this on a lark... shot mostly high contrast scenes and was impressed with the halation. Not sure how much dynamic range it's getting but the highlight glow is something I am really liking. Ordering more for sure.

[24] I shot a few of these rolls to see what they were about. A nice change of pace. I am not sure I would trade in my Tri-x or Delta but this one does have some very intersting renditions, it is a fun film to change things up.

[35mm] I got a single roll of this to take to Sweden, and the nature shots I got with this film were unbelievable. I used an older Canon Canonet camera without a flash, so some of the low-light photos came out pretty dark. As long as you shoot with a flash or with good natural light, you'll be fine and end up with gorgeous photos. I would highly recommend this film for its fun, funky, and rich colors.

[24] I tried this film because it is a 24 exposure film in stock whereas my normal use Tri-X and HP5+ were not. Guess what? It's gorgeous! I ordered a bunch more.

[35mm] I want to recreate some of the nuances of old b/w monster movies and what better time than the next few weeks! Halloween is around the corner! As of this review it is Sept 21, 2030. I have lined up one model so far, well two if you count her dog...LOL. She has a look that will render very good on this film. Now to find a good location in this 4 block town. Somewhere creepy looking...ya. Thanks to the staff of B&H always getting my orders out right away. I have recommended B&H to my photographer, videographer and musician friends, all of which are now big B&H customers!

[35mm] If you want a clean, clinically sharp film this one isn't for you. If you want a film with a refined character and gorgeous mid-tones then it's for you. Wish FPP's came in 36 exposure rolls but I'll take what's in stock, if I could only use one film it would be this one.
