[Proprietary] I really like this light for my travel key light. The velcro is very strong. And the light output is much strong than I expected.

[3000 to 10,000K] I normally do not write reviews on lighting(it's so subjective), but this light is terrific. Low power, light, accurate, affordable-it checks all of the boxes for me.
The selling point was the plus and minus green option. I can now use an LED without needing to cart around gels, a BIG plus.
Finally, their customer service is amazing. I had several conversations with them before my purchase. Nice to get someone to talk with. Go buy it.

[3000 to 10,000K] I just bought this light, and it's been great so far. It's a really smart idea, I've been looking for a portable alternative to a Litemat, and this is pretty darn close. Haven't done any spectrometer readings, but on camera skin tones look very nice. Because it unfolds into a 2x2, it's much more even and less sourcy than a 1x1, with a nice wrap-around on faces. There's a lot of good general engineering here, the build and connectors are robust. Also like how it comes with short soft box, it's a well-thought out addition. Really easy to pack, this comes in it's own hard case, but I easily packed all the parts into a roller bag for air travel. One small gripe is that the bracket that props up the mat for stand mounting is just held up by velcro. It holds pretty well, and there is a tie down to reinforce it, but could be better. Other than that, this light is amazing. Customer service is also great.

[160 W ] I started using the LC-160 with the original 1.0. Since upgrading to the 2.0 design I've been even happier. The new control box with the built in AC and new cabling system really helps speed up the setup process. Build quality is now noticeably higher on the 2.0.

Extended CRI at 5600 reads 98.6, I don't think any of my other lights look nearly as good when set to daylight as this one. Output is fantastic for a large soft source. If you're using it above 50% in doors, you're probably not using it right.

Buy a mini XLR to standard DMX converter if you're ever using DMX. Or just search mini XLR cable. There's a wide variety for $10-$20. I rarely use DMX though on this type of a light since it's my key for traveling gigs.

I had issues getting the app setup. Contacted Intellytech and they helped me in a couple of minutes. Great customer service and I highly recommend the LC-160 for a traveling key if you're looking for a big + soft + bright source.

This light checks off all of the boxes. To have a quality light at this price point, battery powered, and that is just darn beautiful for light quality, there is no reason not to buy it. Lastly, their customer service is second to none. I had several conversations with them before I purchased this panel. Buying a second one next month...

[Bluetooth] Lightweight and wonderful CRI. A lot cheaper than a litegear litemat 2 chroma. Light and effective. Bluetooth. Great RGB availability. I love it.

[3000 to 10,000K] Bought this light for a shoot in Vegas after using the Mega LiteCloth 2.0 and it was a perfect solution for soft, professional lighting without all the checked bags.


I've used this light as a key for continuous light studio photography and packed it up to go to a brand story video shoot in the same day. It's powerful enough to be an incredible key light in most situations while also being one of the least invasive options for those who are a little timid on camera.


It does take a little longer for me to set up than a typical dome light but is still a great trade off for something so packable.

[160 W ] Love these lights! well built solid construction, great options with bi-color and dimming, Recently bought the remote which is a must. Traveling with lights is always difficult, but these make it possible. I would recommend these to anyone!
