Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Approximately how long should this run on a 98wh or 150wh battery?

A: The Intellytech LiteCloth 2.0 LC-160RGBWW Foldable 2 x 2 LED Mat will last at full power with a 98wh battery a little more than 30 minutes. And on a 150wh battery a touch less than one hour.

Q: 2. What are the dimensions of the included hard case?

A: As per the manufacturer, the entire kit would measure 21x14x11" when inside the case.

Q: 3. How long will a 95wH battery power it at 50% and how long will a 290wH battery power it at the same output?

A: The Intellytech Mega-8FC Litecloth 3.0 RGB LED Flexible Mat (V-Mount) BH #IN310082 is a 400w light. You can determine run time by dividing battery capacity by the lights power. The light does require the use of 2 batteries. 2x95wh being run at 50% or around 200w would be loosely 1 hour.

A: No, the white diffuser for the Intellytech Pocket-LiteCloth Softbox is not sold separately.

Q: 5. What is the weight of the package sans the case? I plan on creating a custom case arrangement if the weight is correct.

A: The Intellytech LiteCloth 2.0 LC-160RGBWW Foldable 2 x 2 LED Mat weights 3lbs.

Q: 6. Will this fit the 2.0 version?

A: No, the Intellytech Pancake Lantern and Skirt Set for Mega-8 LiteCloth 3.0 is not compatible on the1.0 & 2.0 Mega-LC.

Q: 8. Is this RGBWW? I remember seeing a rep talk about it being so but I can’t find any other info to confirm this?

Q: 9. Do these lights have an IP rating?

A: No, the Intellytech LiteCloth 2.0 LC-160RGBWW Foldable 2 x 2 LED Mat Kit does not currently have an IP rating.

Q: 10. Why would you put the grid inside the diffusion?? that doesn't make any sense .

[1.6 lb] I normally do not write reviews, but I have to on this one. For me, I need a bright soft source, that is color accurate, easy on power, and very portable. This light checks off all of the boxes. To have a quality light at this price point, battery powered, and that is just darn beautiful for light quality, there is no reason not to buy it. Lastly, their customer service is second to none. I had several conversations with them before I purchased this panel. Buying a second one next month...

[1.6 lb] Have you ever seen the episode of Family Guy when Peter keeps on saying Oh my god Lois, Lois...oh my god That was me when I opened and set up this kit for the first time. It's incredibly easy to use, super intuitive, modular and portable. From the way the lights attach to the C stands all the way to their easy operation. I highly recommend them. The rolling case is key.

[1.6 lb] A necessary accessory that I wish was included to begin with. Decent price though for a good quality cable and seems like it would last through some abuse.

[1.6 lb] 4.5/5 so far

Had a chance to use this on a multi day shoot shortly after purchase and it did not disappoint. My only complaint would be that I wish the whole series of 3.0s were all about 50% brighter so they could replace more setups. But for getting RGB I think it's worth the tradeoff.

I had a Godox 4x4 F600Bi, and this is much better for my uses.
It has a better grid, by far. The frame sets up and collapses quicker. And it's way quieter - the fan doesn't even seem to run most of the time. Oh and the case has rollers - Godox is just big and awkward with no rollers.

Haven't had a chance to use the pop-up quick diffuser accessory yet, though it looks promising. It's a big reason I picked the Intellytech so I'll update after some use.

[1.6 lb] I work in video production, this light mat is powerful and extremely lightweight-making it ideal to fly overhead- the new RGB version opens up new creative possibilities by giving me an instrument that I can also color sets and backgrounds with- to actual Rosco numbers!
Great tool for videographers and lighting professionals.

[1.6 lb] This extension for the Intellytech Litecloth allows you to get the light into some tough mounting areas like the ceiling of a loft location while keeping the ballast accessible on the ground for easy adjustment.

[1.6 lb] I have 2 of these that I use with my 2 LC-120's. It does the job and allows me to leave my control box on the ground when the lights are rigged up at the ceiling. This is an essential add-on for these lights - the included cable is just too short to be useful.

[1.6 lb] Have to say this light is awesome and it is my go to Key light. It's so versatile.
So much power for a flexible light I rarely get above 50%.
I used to punch my hard key lights through soft boxes and 6x6 silks. This obviously includes a lot more stands and grip gear.
Now I can get a similar look with a lot less gear and effort.
I actually owned the megalite cloth 2.0 model before upgrading to this 3.0 version. So many great improvements on this current model. Intellytech really listen to their customers. Lots of welcome upgrades

[1.6 lb] This is great. Extends well and easy to setup. Makes the lc-160 RGBWW a killer soft light to have. It goes down as far as it can go without adding a middle support beam and also a heavier system. But maybe they could look into that.

[1.6 lb] Well designed. Really improves the versatility of the LiteCloth. I wish it was a bit bigger, but still a very nice modifier.
