Due to dust being caked on the stylus after wet cleaning the disk, the woofer started to move excessively (even at idle). Pulled the chunk of lint with a tweezer but one chunk was still stuck. Tried to remove the rest with the brush that came with Audio Technica cartridge. Did not work after one pass because it was just a straight brush, hard to get the angle right. Felt unsafe and stopped. With Ortofon brush it felt safe, proper. Probably other similar brush will do the job. But brand name item for $10 at B&H, a must have item if you own a turntable. 5

Best stylus cleaning brush ever !! A must for an accurate and noise-free tracking of all records. The carbon fiber size, length, density, and circular placement of the bristles on the brush head make it extremely effective at stylus cleaning without damaging the stylus/cantilever assembly. 5

Good product. I have an Audio Technica AT-120USB Turntable that I purchased from B&H Photo and this brush works perfectly to clean the stylus. This really works well when playing a lot of vinyl records. I recommend this product. B&H ships really fast! 5

When I bought my cartridge, it came in the same box as my turntable and was just rolling around in the box. All of my records were popping. A few brushes with this fixed ALL the pops. Buy one and use it regularly. 5

As soon as I played it I heard the difference, and my other stylus wasn't that bad. A while back I tried a knockoff brand and my worn out Ortofon OM 3E still sounded better. This sounds fantastic. 5
