Connect and switch up to four HDMI sources onto two displays with the 4x2 4K60 HDMI Matrix Switch by MuxLabfrom MuxLab. This matrix provides four HDMI inputs that support up to UHD 4K60 4:4:4 color sampling, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and HLG. It is designed for switching Blu-ray players, 4K/HD media players/streamers, cameras, set-top boxes, home theater systems, and game consoles that connect to an HDMI display.

If the output monitor or monitors are lower resolution than the input, 4K input to a 1080p monitor for example, the switch will automatically downscale the image for output. You can also extract the audio embedded in the HDMI signal and output it via analog stereo or via digital optical output. It also supports ARC (audio return channel) functionality.

Select any source to either display via an included IR remote control or by using the selection buttons on the front panel. This device is HDCP 2.2/1.4 compliant, supports a full high dynamic range, up to 18 Gb/s uncompressed bandwidth, and features advanced EDID management.

A: Yes, this is a true matrix switcher. You will be able to assign any input to any output, including assigning an input to multiple outputs.

A: They are not. Audio follows video with this unit.

Q: 10. One user claims it does not work with extended view. Was this correct?

A: Yes, the MuxLab HDMI 1 x 2 Splitter BH #MUHDMI1X2SP is simply a splitter. A splitter will only mirror the same signal, it will not give you independent displays. To get independent displays, you need 2 separate video outputs on the computer.

[S/PDIF] I am using this and it works perfectly. I have 2 PC's and 2 streaming devices connected to the 4 inputs, and 3 monitors and a TV connected to the outputs. Audio and 4k60hz video can be seamlessly toggled between inputs and outputs over the web interface. Does everything I hoped perfectly. 5

[2.135 lb] I had two problems to solve. I wanted to be able to switch between game consoles without turning my entire CRT around to access the S-video port in the back. I also wanted a splitter to output to a capture card for live streams. This does both those things, and it does so without any noticeable loss in quality or added latency, at least to my eyes. 5
