The Watson 14.4V 98Wh V-Mount Battery & Plate Kitcombines functionality with a small form factor. Weighing only 1.1 lb, it's smaller and lighter than full-size 98Wh V-mount batteries but delivers up to 10A to power professional cameras and LED lights. The battery offers multiple integrated accessory ports, including USB-C and USB-A, for powering and charging mobile devices, tablets, and laptops while you're on a shoot. The 98Wh Micro V-Mount Battery (14.4-14.8V) fits onto a standard V-mount plate and supports up to 10A of continuous draw from professional cameras, lights, and monitors that you would normally power with a full-size V-mount battery.

Phones and laptops can get drained during lengthy shoots. To keep you in touch and able to check messages and mail, the integrated USB-C and USB-A ports let you power and charge USB devices like laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets during your shoot.

For added functionality, the battery is outfitted with a D-Tap port to power accessories like monitors or lights, whether independently or at the same time as your camera.

A check button activates the backlit LCD screen and shows remaining battery capacity and output voltage, allowing you to prevent unexpected surprises that could interrupt your workflow.

[1.3 lb] I've owned this battery set three years now. Amazing quality. Super powerful. Simple brick charger. 4-5 hour charge for both batteries. All day power. Running Cine-rig w/Sony A7SII, 5.5 monitor, Nucleus FIZ, 3-motors, 2-handles, Tascam 8x recorder, shotgun mic, all powered by these two v-mounts. 8-10 hours record time. Both batteries still going strong. These batteries have not been available for a while, and just found they are back. Special order. I'll be getting another set. Thank you FXLion. 5

[10 A] First of all, I'd like to remind you that these plates not only accepts Micro V-Mount but ALSO accepts full size V-Mount batteries! it's the same V size. These will go well on anything rod like from 19 to 22 mm. I've tested this on an Amazon Basic stands which I use a lot for loading lighter items since those stands are so light and it will fit on the lower section tube of that stand. So. to me that's perfect. It would be cool if Watson came up with a figure 8 on this unit, divided in 2 sector design so it would accept a wider range of diameters. The screw would be then located at the largest part of that 8 shape, which would take care of both ways you try to place that on. But if you require a larger pole to mount your battery, Watson also makes on just for that. The quality of those threads is so good, it would fly out if you don't catch it on time. Excellent craftsmanship. You won't be turning that wingnut over and over. It's a simple tap on that wingnut and it's OUT. If you want something that mounts fast and to be able to mount your battery in the weirdest places, this is it! [1.3 lb] This is such a great little battery. USB C means I can charge it with my MacBook charger in the hotel room or I can use the battery to charge my MacBook/iPad/phone etc. when on location. Takes the brick battery concept and makes it even more versatile. 5

[10 A] I love how absolutely tiny and light weight this thing is. I grabbed this as a just in case purchase and have yet to really put it to work on set, but when testing during prep, it works great and I'm sure will prove useful at some point. I bought it for use on my steadicam rig to add extra power without the need to modify anything. I'll likely end up using it as a light stand or tripod battery mount instead. 5

[14.4 VDC] These batteries are fantastic. We love that they can be charged via the D-Tap and by USB-C. We also find the various ports helpful as we can use it for multiple devices, which makes it very versatile. 5
