The UHD 4K30 HDMI Extender over Cat 6/5e Setis a single HDMI signal transmitter/receiver set with bidirectional RS-232 and IR control. It transmits a UHD 4K30 signal with embedded audio 131' over HDBaseT output via a Cat 6 cable, sold separately. Full HD 1080p60 36-bit can be sent 230', and 1080p60 48-bit and 1080p120 24-bit up to 131'. A single power supply is included and can be used on either the transmitter or receiver side while both units are powered via PoC.

Q: 1. Will this run over Cat 5e?

A: Hi Ryan. These units only support CAT6 and above, so they won't work with CAT5e unfortunately. I apologize for the inconvenience!

Q: 2. Is it possible to buy this kit and another receiver, so I can transmit the signal (audio and vdeo) to 2 tv's at the same time?

A: To be able to do that, you would need to either split the signal at the source into 2 wireless systems, or split the signal coming out of the receiver into your displays.

Q: 3. Does it support 3D?

A: IOGEAR says: Than k you for choosing IOGEAR. The GW4K30GH60 does not support 3D . Once again thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

A: I'm sorry, but Ocean Matrix does not currently sell the receiver from the Ocean Matrix 1080p HDMI Extender over Single Cat 6 with Loop-Through Output by itself, so for now the receivers are only able to be purchased along with the transmitter.

Q: 8. Can I flash/blast IR from the base transmitter to the receivers as well? I assume it goes both ways correct?

A: No, IR is not bi-directional, so the A-Neuvideo 1 x 4 HDMI 4K60/10800p Cat 6 Extender Splitter with 4 Receivers' transmitter can send IR to the receivers via the the IR blaster, but IR can not be sent the other way.

Q: 9. Can I use a RG45 to VGA adapter on other end instead of the HDMI receivers?

A: No, the transmitter and receivers on the A-Neuvideo 1 x 2 HDMI 4K30/1080p Cat 6 Extender Splitter with 2 Receivers are matched, and the receivers cannot be swapped for another receiver with a different output. It is possible to still have VGA output by converting the HDMI output on the receivers.

Q: 10. Can this be used with CAT5 cables?

A: This requires a minimum of Cat5e to Cat 7 for proper transmission.

[HDMI] I got this for our church because we needed to send the information from our PC to three screens - 1 local, 2 displays. We already had CAT7 deployed between the machines. The included dip-switch chart got us up and running in no time flat. It's been a month, and we haven't had any issues at all 5

[1.795 lb] Have tried a couple others but mixed results. This one works with everything we plug in. Never worry about it not connecting. We have it at front of church to feed PA booth and another one that feeds projectors. The extra out on the transmitter means we can use signal for a monitor in back as well as big screen in front. Been a BH customer since the days of magazines. Always my first goto. 5

[1.795 lb] We all have experienced the thrill of finding a great product for a next-to-nothing price. It does happen, about as often as winning the jackpot at the casino. The truth is, in real life, if you run a business or have a project which just HAS to work without trouble, you're likely to have to spend some money. The trick is not spending more than you need to. The Comprehensive CHE-1 HDMI Extender is a perfect example of how to do it right. I tried to save money by buying two other brands of less expensive extenders, and, don't get me wrong, they worked. Just not reliably. I tested the CHE-1 extenders as soon as I received them. They are well packed, have good instructions, and have aced my tests, which are to operate continuously for more than a week in both cold rooms and rooms at normal human temperatures. No black interference lines in the picture. No flickering, a good solid picture on a 100 foot length of Cat 5e cable. I am glad I bought two of these. I will buy more for future projects. They have earned my trust. 5

[1x HDMI] I have used a number of HDMI over CAT extenders, usually with difficulty. I had my best experience with this one. It worked perfectly the first time I tried it with just one tweak to the skew adjustment. I am using it to duplicate a monitor from a computer and having a HDMI In and a HDMI Out on the transmitter made this very easy. This is going to be my go-to extender in the future. And by the way, the price is also great. 5

[1.795 lb] Replaced defective HDMI cables with this unit. Luckily we had CAT 5e cable pre-wired. I called Neuvideo and they said that this splitter would work well with CAT 5 cable with the relatively short distances that we have (~30 feet). We have it connected to Cox Countour box and LG OLED TVs. Also called Neuvideo customer service to address the correct EDID setting for our service. Both times, spoke with a live person who answered the questions and solved the problems. It's been working for a couple of weeks. Seems well constructed and hope it remains durable and reliable. 5
