[1.285 lb] First off, I love (real) soft boxes. No flat panel will ever match a monolight design like this at illuminating a soft box. Bowens mount makes it easy to fit a soft box. This light is extremely well built and looks pretty darn sexy. The light quality looks excellent on video, and there is tons of light available. Remote said optional in the description, but apparently is included. Nice at this price. Connectivity is great, too. Even the AC adapter is extremely well built with a lovely finish. But, whoops, the DC cord is really too short. The line lump does not reach the floor when the light is on a stand. So, I end up having to strap the AC adapter box to the stand. Irritating. But forgiven given how truly nice and useable this light is. I love it and it will now be my go-to video and photo light in the studio (usually with a soft box.)

[1.285 lb] Good quality product. Start using it in the projects. Very bright. I use LED panel light and LED tungsten style light before. Now I realize that I need the Bowen mount LED light since I have lots photography equipment and light box by Bowen mount.

[1.285 lb] First off, I highly recommend these lights! I’m a youth speaker for high school students and needed to transition to virtual presentations. These lights bring in a lot of character to my backdrop. I like how you can switch from bi-color (3200-5600) and colors. If I need more light on my face, I put one off to the side in front of me and put a diffuser in. The brightness adjusts in 1% increments which gives me more control over how I want to look on camera. Personally, I don’t like ring lights and feel these panels light your face more fully without having that weird ring in your eye. I’ve attached pictures to show how I have them light my background. I’ll let you be the judge with the pictures but I love how they make my studio look. I put these out at almost full power to give you a perspective of how bright they can be. Normally I have the blue light for the background at 40% and it’s plenty bright. I also like using one on white paper when I’m drawing or writing to make the paper pop more. Having the other two in different colors definitely gives more depth for the backdrop. 


If you’re like me and have a virtual studio, I feel these lights can definitely help you give more options to how you want your background to look. They come in a very nice case with everything you need. The app is straightforward to use and allows you to control the lights from your phone which makes things much easier for me when I’m changing the look of my setup. You also can do different with the lights as well (flickering, etc)

I would definitely get them again and am very happy with the way they make my virtual setup pop more. If you’re contemplating getting them, I hope this review was helpful in your decision. 


Final recommendation: Don't use a fake background! Make your background how you want it. It's more real way. My two cents!

[1.285 lb] We bought this for a wedding shoot. We needed to get soft light onto the bride and fathers/groom for the first looks. Quickly popped open and attached to the Bowens mount an put out even light on both subjects. We are planning to put out YouTube videos about our adventures in being a new production company and have found the we can light both of us on camera without casting shadows on each other, like we did with our regular soft box.

[1.285 lb] I am very impressed with this 3 light kit. The bag is amazing where everything is neatly packed. All three lights will be perfect for me on the go product photography. The stands are compact yet robust. From unboxing to ready to shoot it took less than 2 minutes to set everything up. I love that I can use use the power supply or even optional batteries to power the lights which again is amazing for location lighting.
I was initially worried that three lights and stands would be heavy, but to my surprise it was the perfect weight to carry all day without fatigue. This would be a great interview or YouTube setup too. Highly recommend this. In fact, I might look at buying another kit to keep in my studio.
