[48 W ] I have been very happy with the three light kit of 800B1 panels, and also purchased the Genaray barn doors for them. The LED panels are very well made and function just as advertised. However, even with the supplied diffuser panels attached, I found the lighting of faces to be a bit harsh. I purchased the D-Fuse DF-1L softboxes to address that issue. Those softboxes will fit the 800B1s even with barndoors attached (but it is a rather tight fit). Those diffusers alleviated 85-90% of the harshness issue, and did not change the white balance of the Genaray panels. As a picky amateur videographer, I'm very satisfied with the combination.

[Proprietary] This is a great light that provide enough light to illuminate the face during my video shoots and isn't overly big and bulky or too heavy for the clamp I use to secure it. Color is pretty accurate to what I shoot for as well.

[Proprietary] Let me start by saying that I am SUPER impressed by this light. The build quality is excellent. If you are looking for a super lightweight light then this is probably not the light for you. It is SOLID with a little bit of weight to it but in a good way. I compare all modern consumer to semi professional LED's to Aputure lights. This light is beyond the build quality and construction of my Lightstorm. The CRI is accurate and High with an all metal construction. Even the control knobs are metal. The removable reflective pieces on the barn doors are even metal. I like how they designed the way you remove the barn doors as well. Its like a spring loaded system which requires no tools or unscrewing of any kind. Very quick and easy to do. It comes with a wireless remote for temp./output control and a nice carrying case. The case is a pretty good size but once you open it up you will understand why. I love all in one cases where they make room for the cords etc. One nice feature is that it can take V-mounts. Another cool feature is that when you are not using a V-mount the power brick has an attachment so you can clip it right to the back of the panel where the V-mount goes so you do not have a power brick dangling down or on the floor. This is a really great idea. You pay for quality and longevity with this light. If you want professional then this light is it. Very pleased.

[Proprietary] Easy to use with the remote; not too heavy, though does have more noticeable bulk than the 500s of this brand. Will say that the dials are responsive and easy to use. The light appears to be consistent. The barndoors work without issue; sliding freely and remaining in place. Thus far, satisfied with this light. Doesn't feel cheap.

[Yes] Recently a friend of mine who is a Pastor of a church in Delaware invited me to watch his preaching on Facebook live. I took a look at his program on Facebook and enjoyed his message but was disappointed in the quality of his video. He is a dark skin African American and had a lighting issue that needed to fix in order to have a program that was easy to watch. I felt a fill light like the Genaray SP-S-800B would be perfect for this situation. I drove down to his church with the light and set it up in the back of the church out the way. But at full power, the light wasn't strong enough. So we move the light up to about the second row of the seating and put it on a high stand and raise it close to the ceiling. �I took a few photos to see the set-up. I also took a few photos of the pastor with the light on and off. You can easily see how the light made an improvement. The Pastor is planning to buy one and mount it in the ceiling for safety reason.

The LED 800 comes with a wireless remote control which adjusts the color temperature from 3200K-5600K and can also dim the LED 800 from 100-10%. With the light mounted in the ceiling having this remote is priceless. The high CRI/TLCI rating of 95 indicates faithful and accurate color rendering. It also comes with a removable 4-way barndoors.

I think when to take a look at the photos from the church you can see why I'm happy with the results and have no problem recommending you take a serious look at the SpectroLED 800 Bi-Color Studio LED Light.

[48 W ] The light works exactly as promised. Feels like high quality in my hands. Very bright, with digital scroll adjustments down to 0%. Can also digitally scroll from daylight to incandescent. Remote control is useful as well. Not too big or heavy; just right. Form-fitted carrying case is amazing with plenty of room for a narrow V-brick battery and all cables. So very happy with my purchase.

[Yes] Ive only used this on one shoot and I have to say, Im VERY impressed with it! The clips on the barn doors are very convenient to clip diffusion without any additional accessories, the light is bright at 100% and seems like a very sturdy fixture. [Proprietary] The Genaray SpectroLED 800 Bi-Color Studio LED is a truly solid and remarkable light. As soon as I held it in my hands the quality was impressive and highly evident. The light control dials give you tons of range to bump the light up in small/careful or large increments. A beautiful product. 

If ordering these lights, make sure to add 2 Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stands (LS-96HABI). For the price, these are-- by far-- the best light stands I have used to date.

[Proprietary] The Genaray SpectroLED 1200b is going to replace my (name redacted) which cost twice as much and not nearly as feature rich. This is billed as a studio light, and yes even though it is a bit larger than other LED panels on the market, it's not so large that you can't take it out in the field. It even comes with a nice padded travel case, which is a nice added touch.

The build quality is super solid. I didn't feel like I had to baby this thing, which is always a plus. Just like other Genaray lights I've used, it's the little touches that they have added that lets me know they were thinking about the professional working filmmaker in the design process. The barn doors can be removed by an elegant push button latch system. The gel clips on the barn doors are something I never thought I'd ask for, but now that I've used them I'm wondering why other systems don't have them included. I especially like how the AC adapter has a notched groove that attaches to the back of the light where your v-mount battery would go.

The unit gives off a really beautiful light and I have been more impressed with the quality of light thrown from this than I ever have been with (name redacted). Beautiful light=better images=more clients.

My only issue is with the remote control. It's not that it doesn't work, it just feels a bit flimsy and cheap, compared to the rest of the kit. It has an extendable antenna that I know I'm going to end up breaking sooner rather than later. I don't feel like I'm going to be using it much, but since none of my other LED panels from (name redacted) have that feature, I'm not going to be missing much.

All and all, I'm SUPER impressed with this light, especially at the price point. If you are trying to step your game up and transition from a hobbyist to a professional this light is going to help get you there ( along with talent and skill, but you get my point).
