Add pan handle-mounted focus control to your Studio Plus or Studio Pro camera with this Blackmagic Design Zoom Demand. Featuring dual USB connectors, the focus demand mounts on your pan handle with a rosette so you can adjust its position for your comfort. It features a rotating knob with three levers set equally around the handle for good grip and fast adjustment.

A: The Blackmagic Design Focus Demand is not supported on URSA MIni Pro Cameras.

A: There is not an option to adjust the sensitivity of the Blackmagic Design Focus Demand on the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Pro at this time.

Q: 4. Do you have to supply your own USB-C to USB-C cable and rosette to pan arm adapter?

A: Blackmagic Design has confirmed that the Blackmagic Design Focus Demand and Zoom Demand, both come supplied with a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Q: 5. Does this come with the clamp to put on a tripod arm?

A: Yes. The item allows you to clamp down to different type of pan arms on the market.

Q: 6. Where can I find a lens compatibility list?

A: Unfortunately, at this time Black Magic has not created a tested list of B4 lenses for the Blackmagic Design Focus Demand. However, If you are working with the new 4k Studio cameras all the following MFT lenses would be supported. https://bit.ly/3xiwF9D

Q: 7. Can i use Focus Demand and also record footage with ssd T7 on BMPCC 6K G2 ?

A: If you were to connect a USB 3.1 hub to the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2's (BH #BL6KPKCAMG2) USB-C port, you can record to an SSD and use the Blackmagic Design Focus Demand at the same time by connecting both accessories to the USB hub.

Q: 8. Focus Demand will work with Sigma EF 150-600mm lens ?

A: The Blackmagic Design Focus Demand should work with the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Canon EF so long as the lens mount being used supports electronic lens communication.

Q: 9. assuming the electronic functions work well with the metabones adapter ... will the BLACKMAGIC ZOOM AND FOCUS DEMANDS CONTROL THE CANON 18-80 CN-E LENS (instead of using the SS-41-IASD)? thanks!

ALSO, even though you can't see it in the packaging or product description, the BMD Focus Demand and Zoom Demand products each come with the Pan Bar Bracket which you must have for installation. No need to buy the brackets separately. 5

[1.97 lb] We bought these to swap out the more expensive Fuji controllers we own that are starting to show their age. This feels every bit as expensive as our Fuji controllers. During our test, the zoom was smooth and controls were responsive. We look forward to taking them out on the road with us and making them part of our kit 5

[Focus Control] Works great with the Canon COMPACT-SERVO 70-200MM T4.4 EF and the Canon COMPACT-SERVO 18-80MM T4.4 EF on the 6k studio camera and the Panasonic lens on the 4k cameras. 5

[2x USB-C Input] Works great paired with the Studio 4k Pro camera and Lumix 35-100 2.8 lens. Has some weight to it which makes for smooth movement. Definitely well built! I like that in the camera settings you can reverse the direction of the focus if you want. 5
