[Fleece] Sometimes I like to have a pipe and drape style background and that is difficult to achieve out of studio. However I was able to use this background that weighs next to nothing and transports in case about half the size of a pillow and weighs about the same. Absolutely no wrinkles, simple and perfect. [Solid Black] I own two Westcott stretchy fleece backgrounds (gray and chroma-green) and love them. Because the Angler backgrounds were on sale when I needed a 9'x10' white background, I gave it a try. The thickness and feel of the material seem to be of equivalent quality to the Westcott background, but the backing is slightly, but almost unnoticeably different. Both brands are easily stretched to remove wrinkles. Note: neither brand is thick enough to block strong background light from being visible on the opposite side, so plan to set them up against a wall, or block any offending lights. I actually like how the grommets allow a support rod to be placed above them making for a smooth hang (my Westcott grommets are on top of the bar insert pocket). Very pleased with the product and would purchase it again.

[3] I wanted something to provide an all black background for online video conferences and general streaming. However, I did not want anything that would reflect light or look distracting with colors, patterns, wrinkles, etc. This works perfectly to help provide that distinctive look once paired with an effective lighting setup.

[Yes] I just did my first headshot session using this background and I'm very pleased. I've tried many different backgrounds for location work and never really found anything that I like or that is easy to transport and convenient to use. I'm usually skeptical of 'wrinkle free' claims but I have to say that I unpacked this background, set it up, used some clamps to stretch it between 2 heavy duty stands and I was ready to go. I shot at various apertures from shallow to very small, with my subject about 8 feet from the background, there was no sign of texture, wrinkles or creases.



This is a very good alternative to some of the more bulky and expensive solutions.

[Solid Black] Easy to stretch a bit between two stands and all wrinkles are gone. No more steaming required with these backdrops. Looks great.

[Fleece] I'm primarily using this background as a floor set. The Angler Wrinkle-Resistant Fleece Background is the best thing that happened to my 6 meter X 3 - 20ft wide X 10ft tall wall background. I needed a floor!!I didn't know what else to think of...Until I saw this. Any floor surface or material that I could think of, for that huge size would cost a fortune. Close to a Grand. You have no idea how happy I am with this product. And when you walk on it, it only moves at the area you're stepping on, not the whole thing, which means, I don't have to re-set or straighten the entire background on the floor area every time. It's a quick stretch to put it back to flat on the ground. (I have concrete floor).

Surprisingly, during winter times where ambient is dry, handling this fleece material, it gave me absolutely NO static! Another thing that made me happy.

I'll be also using this background in the normal way vertically on a stand with a crossbar for on location photography for Galas and other events that customers hire us for.

The fleece material absorbs all light, no spots or shininess anywhere. As for any black background, keep your subject at a reasonable distance from the background wall and use a Grid with your softbox for a higher level of lighting control. I highly recommend the Angler Quick Open 40 Beauty Dish for a main portrait Keylight. Search for BH #ANQOFBDS40.

This background is definitely worth having it. I steamed it too. Looks as flat as my floor! Took me only 15 minutes and without help. All I had to steam was just 8 straight lines. 80% of the background out of the included pouch bag comes with almost no wrinkles.
