The Vanguard VEO BH-110S Dual Axis Ball Headfeatures an Arca-type clamp and includes an Arca quick release plate. It supports up to 22 lb and offers 360° rotation, 90° tilt adjustment, and independent pan axis adjustment. Two knobs on the bottom separately tighten the ball joint and pan axis. The head has a 3/8"-16 female thread on the bottom and comes with a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 reducer bushing, allowing it to be mounted on virtually any camera support, including monopods, sliders, and skate dollies.

A: The Vanguard tripod and ballhead should have come with a quick-release plate (look for this item in the box: https://bhpho.to/3oNXi0u). From my experience, Vanguard packages its plates with its instruction manual.

A: The Vanguard VEO 3+ 263AB Aluminum Tripod with VEO BH-160 Ball Head has two bubble levels. One is on the top of the tripod above a leg and one is on the head on the top.

Q: 7. Will this ball head fit on REDGED RTA 424 tripod legs?

A: Yes this head can fit a REDGED RTA 424 Tripod.

Q: 8. can the ballhead be removed?

A: Yes the ball head can be removed.

A: Yes the Veo 2 235CB would be great for long exposure with a Nikon D500 with a Nikon 70-200mm or Tamron 150-600mm attached to it.

Q: 10. Will a Peak Design standard plate fit the Vanguard Alta BH-250 ball head?

A: The arca compatible Peak Design Standard plate should fit the arca compatible ballhead.

[Ball Head] I actually bought these (I own 2) to pair up with my Kessler Cineslider and they work wonderful. They support the weight easily and the photo ball head makes it very easy to level the slider. I will be using this for photos as well but for my intended purpose they are great. 5

[Ball Head] My primary interests are in landscape and macro photography. This tripod gives me exactly what I need for both of these in a single package. In the few weeks I've had it, it's already proven to be very versatile and easy to use. The balance between stability and weight have worked out well for me. I've found the multi-angle center column to be extremely versatile and flexible. 5

[1/4"-20 Male] What makes this tripod amazingly versatile is the ability to position the center pole horizontally and then angle it up and down as desired. The lever release makes this operation smooth and effective. I have another high quality tripod that can position the center pole horizontally but it can't change the angle up and down. I have to do that by adjusting the legs. A bit clumsy at times. This tripod does it using the release lever. Much easier to do. 5

[35°] Just used this for 7-days straight. Water, sand, dirt, handles it with no problem. Solid as a rock. Ball head is excellent. 5

[Yes] So much versatility. It's robust and easy to use for the most part. It's not as portable as some other tripods but that's not a big deal for me 5

[1/4"-20 Male] I had been looking and researching Tripods for over a year. This one checked all the boxes for my needs. As a macro, flower and small landscape photographer I needed a tripod that allowed me to position my camera low to the ground and this one is perfect. I do wish I could have afforded to purchase the carbon fiber version because this one is a bit heavy. I'm still very happy with my choice. I love the ease of operation of this well made camera gear. 5
