Q: 8. can this be used on a lens with 37mm filter thread, like the panasonic 12-32mm?

[1.08 lb] Just got this scope about a week ago and was finally able to get it out in the field at a local refuge. It's hard to describe the amazing color, brightness and clarity when looking through this thing. It's difficult to pull your eyes away. My previous scope which is a mid range Swift Nighthawk and which I still retain since it is a straight eyepiece and useful for a car window mount and which I thought performed admirably absolutely paled in comparison to the Kowa. I am looking forward to many years with my eye glued to the eyepiece of this truly amazing instrument.

[17.0 mm] Had been using the 45X Wide eyepiece before but this item has now been discontinued. When I got my new Swarovski scope, this was an obvious choice for me. Have always preferred a wide-angle eyepiece over the standard zoom due to wider field of view and easier location of subjects and now to have this luxury with zoom functionality is simply awesome. Highly recommended and typical Swarovski quality.

[1.08 lb] Great spotting scope with easy zoom and focus possibilities. Very sharp and clear view even when zooming very close. The possibility to attach your DSLR camera with adapter is great additional feature. B/H had fast and reliable delivery!

[17.0 mm] This eyepiece provides sharp images from 25x to 50x power. There is no significant drop in image quality at the upper end of the range. The wide angle is another benefit. The eye relief could be a bit better for an eyeglass wearer but this is not a major issue.

[1.08 lb] This scope replaces a previous Nikon 82 mm lens scope with brilliant color and clarity! Excellent at long range viewing across the zoom range, and for closer views of birds it is extraordinarily sharp and awesome crisp imaging. Love it, looking forward to years of use.

[1.08 lb] Primarily use this for spotting big game and digiscoping big game. Wide angle provides better field of view. Also use 20 X 60 and 20 power but like this the best. Needs very stable tripod at higher powers (30)

[1.08 lb] I've been able to test this a few times in the field now, including birds at a distance and in low light. I upgraded from the Viper Vortex 65mm 15-45X. The field of vision is a lot wider on this, and clearer to the edges, at a greater zoom range. So it's better in all ways. It's so much more pleasant with a wider, clearer image, and the 83mm scope body gives me better light in low light conditions. My only issues were that the zoom goes in the opposite direction, so I have to get used to that, and when it arrived there was some gunk on the rubber parts and on the bag (but not the glass). I also wish it came with some sort of string or cord to attach to the lens cap. There's a hole in the lens cap for hanging, but they didn't include anything to tie it with..

[1.08 lb] A great high power scope. A few points led me to this scope: -Lack of rubber coating. I often wonder how well the rubber protection coatings hold up after decades.
-Actual crystal lenses.
-The incredible focus system for fine adjustments and course adjustments.
-Dual tripod plate screws on foot.
-sights on the rubber sun shade for easier pointing

Fits well into my short distance walking birding trips. Would ideally complement this with a much smaller scope for backpacking. Nothing beats the resolution and low light quality.
I've seen other reviews complaining about the leather green bag it came in. I'm the opposite, it's the epitome of Japanese aesthetic for which country this is made in.
Cons include the lens covers seem extremely cheap and they don't include a nice string to attach them. Also eyepiece cover seems slightly too tight. it's leaving indentations on the rubber eyepiece.
