[Hard-Wired] I had this exact model but after a few years, I couldn't get sound out of one of the ear pieces any more. B&H had the exact model and at a good price. I particularly like how comfortable/soft the ear pieces are and the sound is crisp and clear.


What made the purchase even better is that when I ordered it, it said I would get it the following Tuesday. When I checked a day or two later, it had changed to Monday. Actual delivery date was even earlier -- Saturday!

[0.495 lb] I'm using this to replace a cheap in-ear headset that came with one of my Smartphones year ago. I could not believe how comfortable the new Plantronics would be. It's great for hour-long Google Hangouts/Meet and Zoom. People actually mentioned that my voice is much clearer and that there's very little ambient noise, even when someone else in the same room is on a call at the same time. The mute button only mutes on the headset but the volume buttons on the headset control the volume within Linux. I even like listening to music through it.

[1x USB-A] Purchased this to attempt to upgrade an old Plantronics USB headset with foam ear pads. I liked the foam pads because it didn't isolate outside noise too much which means sidetone isn't quite as important.


Comparing these to those, these are more comfortable, but I haven't fully adjusted to increased isolation yet.


The adjustment on the headset was pretty loose on one side and would adjust the height when taking the set off. I ended up removing the screws on that side and bending the metal piece to add some stiffness. It's lame that I had to do that, but it now works perfectly.


Overall, I don't think I could have found a better headset for my needs, which are conference calls and music.

[Closed-Back] I sought a practical solution for tutoring and meetings. Not only does the microphone block all the background noise, but the 3mm jack for cell phone provides additional convenience for important phone calls.

[Yes] I have been using headsets for business telephony for more than 30 years and finally found a set that I am not disappointed in. I gave up on bluetooth headsets for too many reasons to list here. Sound quality is crystal clear and the earpads are so comfortable I almost forget I am wearing them. Controls located 'mid-cord' well designed and easy to use. Overall feels like a headset that should cost much more.

[Yes] The ear pads are soft and comfortable to wear. Others report they don't hear me typing during Zoom conferences.

[Yes] This headset works well because it doesn't fully cover the ear so you can kind of hear how loud you are. But it covers enough that it feels private. I've asked several of the colors how I sound and they said it was really clear. I use The headset specifically for my zoom like meetings. I dial in via my cell phone and use the headset. I have found using the audio this way is better than with the computer audio. It eliminates any delays and or feedback. So far so good. I've only had it for a couple weeks now.

[Stereo] Not much to say about this adapter. It was inexpensive. It works as advertised to connect USB-A/B to USB-C or Thunderbolt. Most new laptops have only one or maybe two USB-A/B ports, and several USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. If you are using older peripherals, you need these adapters to connect. They are much less expensive than buying new, hard to find cables with different connectors.
