The SM7B is known to have a low gain output, so often a gain booster is used with the mic to give you more headroom and to avoid any noise in the signal. Q: 10. Need a recommendation for a voice mic to use with an M BOX Mini currently using a SHURE PE 515, I also have a SHURE 545L which I have not tried. Or, if I get a Shure SM7B will I be able to use my Passport 150 Pro as a pre-amp for the M BOX Mini?

A: The Shure SM7B is very low in natural since its a dynamic mic it needs alot of gain from your M BOX asnd doing so will introduce hiss from the M BOX bringing noise level up. The best we can advice is to get a cloud lifter and this will eliminate and hiss giving you a 25db of a boost.

[Carrying Handle] I have a 1RU guitar effects unit (TC Electronic G System) and a few effects pedals. The case has hadware and mounting rails that can handle upto 2U of 19 rackable equipement plus space for store cables. The G System, effects pedals and all cabling all fit nicely and securely into the case forming a neat package that can be transported easily. Tear and setup is a breeze because everything is precabled in the Gator case, Just need to pull out preconnected cable snake and run to the amp and run a single eth cable to the G System. Works great and the case is of high qaulity. It does have ridgid walls which provides a high level of protection for the equipment but I would not stack anything heavy on top. 5

[1.53 lb] Sturdy blown-mold case with carrying handle and 2 latches on front. Outside dimensions: 20 x 16.25 x 5.5 Case has protruding corners with a hole for a pad lock or other locking device. The lower inside foam has pre-molded spaces for microphone, wireless receiver, wall plug adapter, mic clip, 9-volt batteries, etc. There are pull-out pieces of foam that make it easy to adapt to your system. The upper foam is egg-carton style with a slot for the ULX System. I use it for my Shure PG58 wireless handheld. It fits great and there is even room for the XLR cable I use to connect to the mixer. The only downside is that the case is so well made that it's hard to get a good hold on the lid to open it after releasing the latches. But I'd rather have it close snugly then have it flimsy. This case is great protection for my wireless microphone system which beats storing it in the original box. 5

[1.53 lb] I purchased these cases for our spare Shure SLX wireless systems. It has foam inserts that allow you to pluck the right size to fit your receiver and it holds the transmitters nicely (microphone and body pack). They are a little bulky but that will keep them from crushing or damaging the equipment inside from a fall. I really like the latches. Way better protection than my Sennheiser cases but not as slim. The case is made of hardened plastic. 5

[1.2 lb / 0.5 kg] I use this to contain a single standalone Shure QLX-D system with a receiver, handheld, and body-pack. It works great, and offers superior protection. Super sturdy case, but also pretty big. It was larger than I was expecting, but I'll have to deal with it, since I need to protect this single system. Holds batteries and accessories like short XLRs, lavaliere mics, etc. 5

[1.2 lb / 0.5 kg] First and foremost, this case was made by the makers of the microphone for that specific microphone. No retro fitting. Very secure latches, hard case and interior foam pre-cut to provide the protection I need for a quite expensive microphone. It ain't cheap, but neither is good health insurance.
