The Nady PEM-02 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring Systemis a wireless in-ear monitoring system for two vocalists or musicians in clubs, concerts, or houses of worship. Comprised of a dual-channel tabletop transmitter with an AC adapter, two bodypack receivers, and two pairs of in-ear headphones, this two-person system is easy to use and offers a maximum range of 300'.

The PEM-02 offers 16 selectable UHF frequencies to choose from, allowing you to find two clean, interference-free transmission channels. Operating in the 903 to 928 MHz frequency range allows the system to avoid interference from TV channels and Wi-Fi devices for clearer transmission. A single removable antenna is supplied.

Infrared sync enables the transmitter and receivers to lock to the same frequencies quickly and easily. The transmitter's two 1/4" inputs accept unbalanced line-level signals, while an XLR input accepts balanced signals. A front-panel 1/4" TRS jack for stereo headphones allows you to monitor the signal from the transmitter.

Each of the two bodypack receivers features a 3.5mm dual-mono mini headphone jack and a 3.5mm line output for recording purposes. Two pairs of EB-6 earbuds with behind-the-ear cabling are provided for monitoring, but you can substitute them with your own favorite earbuds if you prefer. The receivers run for up to 11 hours on two AA batteries and feature channel displays along with LEDs to indicate battery status and radio signal strength.

A: You could come directly from a headphone into the transmitter with a 3.5mm to 1/4" cablle. You would need to send a mono signal out of the headphones. This unit however is made to transmit to headsets, not speakers.

A: The VocoPro IEM-Digital bodypack receiver has a micro-USB port on the bottom and once a USB cable is connected to the receiver and to a power source, the built-in rechargeable battery will begin to charge.

[<3 ms] This worked literally right out of the box. I was so excited to get it that I figured I'd hook it up and try it out before reading the instructions. I tried it out at home due to the fact that we can't engage in any public gatherings right now. I hooked it up to my computer and I was able to freely walk around the house with this strapped to my belt while I listened in on the office meeting. No interference or dropouts around the house but I don't know if that will change in a public venue. The supplied earbuds are OK but not great enough to reproduce the entire spectrum. They're fine for normal speech but if you want to hear a full band mix or even your personal music collection, the lower frequencies get distorted. So I decided to plug in my expensive set of earbuds and I was loving it! 5

[2.2 lb / 0.9 kg] There weren't a lot of reviews available for this, but we decided to take a chance on it anyway since the cost is not that high. It was quite easy to set up and we had them patched into our digital mixer and running right away. Set it to mono initially and so far good feedback from our singers on the clarity of the set. The limiter was definitely kicking in at the loudest points and there would be a second when the sound cuts out at that point but not long enough to throw anyone off. Tested the signal strength initially at about 20m away and it was cutting out at times. Ended up putting the base station 5m from the stage and no issues that that range. Didn't use any of the bundled ears as they were quite basic and didn't sound good. Most got their own ears and were quite happy with the results so far. Good value buy. 5

[0.005%] I'd love to recant my previous review of this product. Bought it, used once and had issues the second time with some serious feedback. After speaking with Glenn on this matter, I realized it was my own fault that resulted in feedback. Looking through the box I did not see the antenna (oops lol), disconnecting the system and having Glenn walk me through step by step I realized this very rookie mistake. Once we got it hooked up, body packs set to the same channel, and antenna hooked up as designed the system began working fantastic! Very very simple system to use. Really feel silly for that ridiculous error on my behalf lol will continue to work with CAD and Glenn for the foreseeable future! Excited to get this system on the stage! 5

[50 mW] Wow, as a touring musician, I am hard on gear and always buying and selling gear to find out exactly the best product! When it comes to In Ear systems, CAD is the only way to go! The clarity is unreal, 2 antennas provide better range, less interference, and is better than many other systems I have used over past 15 years! Plus, CAD customer service is amazing! I use many of their products and rarely had an issue, if there was, CAD took care of it asap! I live the 4 unit one rack space design, keeps everything nice and tidy and compact! When CAD first announced this product, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and now I am getting another system for my other rehearsal space! 5

[0.005%] This unit has excellent audio quality at any price, at this price point, it's a steal. I play the drums in a small group that uses sound tracks and I was looking for a wireless iem system that would help me hear the music more clearly. Our floor monitor wasn't cutting it. This unit did the trick. I can now hear the detail I was missing and react in real time. My timing has improved and the singers like it because they can hear themselves and don't have to strain their voices to sing in tune. I believe it's the digital transmission that gives this unit it's excellent clarity. I haven't seen any other budget iem system that claims to be digital. The receiver pack is metal and is rechargable (charger included). The included iem's are ok but I'm using some CCA C10's. Highly recommended. 5
