The D16 LuSH-101 Multitimbral Polyphonic Synthesizerfrom D16 LuSH-101 Multitimbral Polyphonic Synthesizeris a VST and AU synthesizer plug-in that features 8 synthesizer modules that can be layered, assigned to separate MIDI channels, or set up as separate keyboard zones. The synthesizer modules feature 32-note polyphony and are modeled after analog units. They are designed to be alias-free, producing clear audio up to 22kHz.

The 8 modules are routed to a built-in mixer that features layer-independent parametric EQ and compression as well as 3 effect sends. You can further shape and effect your tone with the built-in arpeggiators or via the modulation matrix. The LuSH-101's filters can be controlled by the LFOs, allowing you to create Dubstep and Drum & Bass tones. Over 1600 presets are included to help you get started and to show what the LuSH-101 is capable of sonically. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes.

Q: 1. Can I connect this synthesizer in a place where the mains voltage is 220 V at a frequency of 50 Hz?

A: The Korg KingKORG NEO Virtual Analog Synthesizer (BH # KOKINGKORNE) includes a 120 VAC/60 Hz AC power adapter that features a twin-bladed, North America-style AC outlet plug.

Q: 2. What country was this product made in?

A: According to Waldorf all manufacturing of their products is done in Germany.

Q: 3. Does this have a footswitch input? only expression pedal input is listed in the description. If there is a footswitch, can it be routed to sustain, portamento on/off or ?

A: The Sledge 2.0 Synthesizer features 2 pedal inputs, one labeled HOLD that would support Sustain. The other port EXPRESSION, can be assigned to control Volume, Filter Cutoff or Modulation.

Q: 4. This is the "instrument" that David Bowie used on his "Space Oddity" album. In the Showtime documentary film "David Bowie ~ Finding Fame" they talk about it. He was the 1st and probably the last one to do so. I mean .. how many Stylophone players are there? Lol

A: That is an interesting observation, and you are correct, not too many Stylophonists out there these days. But, small synths like this and the Teenage Engineering instruments are back in vogue.

Q: 5. Does this synth accept power over usb?

A: It does not accept power over usb. These are the power options:9V DC external power supply (included)6 x AA batteries (optional)

Q: 6. Is the cassette tape/recorder microphone included in the BULLFROG Synth? If not where can it be purchased?

A: The Erica Synths x Richie Hawtin Bullfrog Synthesizer does have a built-in microphone and it features a sampler-looper effect that emulates the functionality of a tape recorder, recording up to 10" of audio from the built-in microphone or from the Bullfrog itself, and then feeds it back into the audio path of the Bullfrog for processing via the VCF, VCA, and Delay.

Q: 7. How is the MIDI interface? are all the nobs working and effecting the different sounds?

A: It is not a MIDI interface. The nobs do work and in fact effect the sound.

Q: 8. Does it still have a tripod mount on the bottom?

    A: Yes it does.

Q: 9. Will the Nikon Z 400mm f/4.5 lens fit into this case in the second spot?

A: No, a Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S Lens would not fit into the second slot of the Nikon CT-101 Trunk Case.

    Q: 10. Can i use in Asia 220V?

A: I don't remember getting a 220v adapter plug with my Minilogue. I just remember getting the AC 9V adapter. Hope this helped.

[Synthesizer] This synth is one of the best poly multi timbral synths out there. It’s like oberheim, Moog , prophet have a common child. Sound quality and build quality are both notch. Build in effects are digital but sound good. I have minimoog model d, prophet 6, prophet x, polybrute, deep mind 12, Eventide h9000k, so I believe I know what I am saying. It’s become my go to synth now.

[Synthesizer] Been waiting for so long to get my hands on one of these! Ever since I opened the box I've been in love. For the price point you can't beat it. I've been using the Korg R3 for about 5 years and a Roland SH-32 for about a year, this is a perfect addition to my setup! If you're in the market for an analog synth.. BUY THIS ONE!

[AU, VST] I have been using Roland synthesizer since the 1980s. I am a hard to convince consumer when it comes to analog modeling and this one is probably some of the best I've heard from Roland. The ability to stack all of your different synthesizer models on top of one another is amazing. it's very convincing and is just gorgeous sounding. The keyboard feels good and the flow is incredible with all of the polyphony it sounds huge!

[AU, VST] The Minilogue is a really fun to use synthesizer, with an immediate interface to tweak and a great sound, while also affordable. At first I wasn't so sure about its sound, but had a test drive and it really impressed me (all 3 times in consecutive days). Even as an affordable synth, it has its own thing and can sound amazing. Been using it mostly for pad and keyboard(ish) bell sounds, and it is great at it. Throw in an external delay pedal and you're good for days. Sound-wise, it doesn't have the aggressively low end you find on other synths, but it is very good at mid-range. I love the filter tonality, and while not the most versatile beast, it is certainly capable of doing some impressive things. The hardware is also very well made for what you pay... good metallic plate on top, mini-keys that are way better than traditional ones, all necessary tools for customizing simple and complex sounds (although limited in terms of modulations), nice knobs and switches, ideal size (love this small footprint). There's a single thing I don't enjoy much: the pitch bend lever. I'd rather have a single modulation one... this aside, an amazing little synth.

[Synthesizer] If you love the Juno series, this has all of them and yes it sounds just like the old ones. Its buit tough, the action is great. Building your own sounds is very adictive, easy and once get used to the layout and menus its easy. I love all the customisable buttons and sliders on the left. The knobs and sliders are silky smooth and tough. The sounds are very lush and full, the effects are good, but not perfect, the reverb is basic, but its smooth. The delay is very nice and so is the drive. It was easy to update the firmware all you need is a thumb drive. If you want that Juno sound and dont want to risk getting an original, this will do nicely.

[Synthesizer] I admit I was attracted to Nina by the innovative powered knobs and ‘50s sci-fi design. When a price break came, I ordered one. My first reaction was that it was cool — but given my active arsenal of three German digitals and two American analogs, it would probably be redundant and, even at that price, have to go back.

And then I started falling in love with Nina. The sound has a flavorful character that cuts through my dense mixes with a presence and authority unmatched by my other synths. Perhaps I’m still in the honeymoon phase, but I find it's the first, and often only, synth I reach for.

I’m a songwriter by nature, not a sound designer. When I want a certain sound, I want a preset that quickly gets me in the ballpark that I can then tweak to taste.

Nina has the most immediately useful UI of any synth I’ve ever used. Not only are the powered knobs an integral part of the design, but several other aspects of the UI are uniquely useful. The datawheel entry for naming patches, for example, has been rethought and just makes sense. The mod matrix is uncommonly simple to access and tweak. And the morph feature is very useful.

What if some curious and resourceful electronic musicians were stuck inside during a global pandemic? And what if they just wanted to make things work as well as possible without necessarily repeating the way they’ve always been done? You’d end up with something pretty much like the Nina — a pathfinding and beautiful instrument.

[AU, VST] The Korg Minilogue is a SUPER fun & intuitive analog synth for everyone from beginners to seasoned synthesits. I've been programming synths for 20 years and this was just as fun as the first synth I ever used. Its analog sound is wonderful and thick. Almost everything has a knob or switch for control and, for the patches I was making, I never went into the menus for further editing beyond naming patches and setting sequencer settings. The shape control of the oscillators gives a lot of variation to your standard waveforms and the sync/ring-mod, cross modulation, & pitch envelope of oscillator two really open up the sonic possibilities. I very much enjoy the dedicated switch for velocity modulation of the filter cutoff and I like that there are only two modulation depths beyond none. My favorite feature of the Minilogue is the envelope modulation of either the rate or the intensity of the LFO. This really gives a sense of motion to what is already a sense of motion from the LFO. My only complaint is that the LFO doesn't go fast enough for analog-FM style tones. It's not nearly as fast as the LFO on the Monologue but that's more of an observation that a full drawback. I really enjoyed the different voice modes of this synth, really finding mono, which introduces a variable level sub, and chord, which creates various fixed chords, to be the most useful beyond the standard poly mode. This is by far the best poly synth I have ever found for someone who is interested in learning analog synthesis. The knobs and switches along with the actual layout of them makes programming make sense and a joy to use. The Minilogue does have mini-keys but the mini keys Korg has been using for their new synths are really great. Much better than the microKORG. With the Minilogue, Korg really show us that there will always be room for one more analog synth.
