The D16 Nepheton 808 Drum Machine Emulator Plug-Inis a VST and AU compatible drum synthesizer plug-in that emulates the classic 808 analog drum machine. It features 17 synthesized instruments that reproduce the sounds of the 808, all of which can be routed individually to any of the plug-in's 17 outputs. The Nepheton has an internal sequencer that can be programmed with 16 extended or 96 simple patterns. Programmed patterns can be saved and stored as XML files, allowing you to trade them with other Nepheton users. The software requires a VST or AU compatible host application and can operate in 32- or 64-bit modes on Mac or PC computers.

A: The Alesis SR-18 Portable Drum Machine does not have an internal, rechargeable battery within but rather can be powered via 6 x AA batteries or the included power adapter. Run time when used with batteries is not indicated by Alesis and can be affected by the battery type (lithium, NiMh, etc) as well as certain settings on the SR-18 itself, such as screen brightness. The SR-18 also has a Low Battery Warning feature that helps to alert the user when new batteries are needed.

A: There's a very good chance that this will work for you if your projector is EDID compliant. But HDMI switching is rarely seamless.
