A: The kit comes with a camera release cable. That attaches to the receiver and the other end attaches to the camera. The connection is on the side of the camera under a rubber door. [0.8 lb] I have been experimenting with HDR photography and this has helped me to get the shots without disturbing the camera. It's a bit odd that the receiver end just dangles from the camera... but it is very light and it ultimately works well. 5

[Plastic, Metal] This is about the most valuable piece of accessory gear I have and use it all the time. I've had one of these for several years and it has worked well. The suddenly stopped working issue is usually one of the pin switches getting changed by accident. They are firm switches, but it has happened to me. Just put back at correct number and you are good to go. I'm just ordering a new one, as my first one was partially crushed. However, I got it working again. The range on this is great, just extend the little antenna. 5

[0.8 lb] This remote shutter release works in front, to the side and behind the camera. Its working range is very impressive and it even works through walls. I am yet to find something negative to say about it. I have not owned it long enough to attest to its durability, however. 5

[Plastic, Metal] Works great even through walls. I've had it at about 60 feet (with the antenna down) with no problems and so easy to use. With this product you don't have to depend on line of sight like some other brands. 5
