Designed specifically to fit onto a Canon RF 400 f/2.8 IS lens, the RealTree AP Snow camouflage LensCoat Travelcoat Canon RF 400 f/2.8 IS RealTree AP Snowis a 3mm thick, shock-absorbing, closed-cell neoprene cover that is custom tailored to fit the lens without its lens hood. It is designed to fully protect the lens from bumps, scratches, and abrasions when not in use, without the need of a more traditional bulky lens case. The trim fit of the coat offers extra storage space when you're packing for that long photo excursion, or even a day trip. The coat simply slides over the lens, and closes with a secure touch fastener. A Realtree AP Snow TravelCoat is useful in autumn or early winter when there is snow on the ground and there is a trace of foliage left on the trees.. Use with the appropriate optional Hoodie for complete lens protection.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will these pouches fit a Godox rechargeable battery? (It's larger than my Nikon D850 battery). Please advise.

A: The Godox VB-18 Li-Ion Battery Pack should fit, but the larger Godox batteries probably would not fit.

Q: 2. So the Ad says 1 pouch holds 1 battery. Is there room for 2 batteries (EN-EL14) in one pouch? the reviews are contradictory.

A: Yes, one can put two Nikon EN-EL14 batteries in one LensCoat BatteryPouch Pro DSLR 1+1, because the pouches are big enough for one large EN-EL18 .

Q: 3. Does this lens cover fit the newest model of the 150-600mm G2?

A: No it does not fit is securely enough that I feel comfortable taking it in the field.

Q: 4. Will this model comfortably fit a Sony NP-FZ100 battery?. Nowhere do I see the actual size listed.

A: This case can comfortably fit a Sony NP-FZ100 battery.

Q: 5. Will this fit Fuji 50-140mm lens?

A: This product is compatible with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS models and the 100-400mm IS. It may not be a good fit for the Fuji 50-140mm and we do not recommend it for that lens. Here is a link to some covers we offer that are made specifically for Fuji 50-140mm.https://bhpho.to/2lDyvLP

Q: 6. Will this pouch hold an EN-EL18d battery and BL-7 cover for a Nikon Z9?

A: Yes, the LensCoat Battery Pouch Pro can hold the EN-EL18d but not with the BL-7 cover attached.

Q: 7. How does one install the lens coat and still use the zoon? The barrel fits tightly inside at 150mm.

A: The lens coat comes in multiple pieces ... there are multiple pieces for the lower portion of the lens, a piece that fits over the end of the lens, and a piece that fits the lens shield. The individual pieces cover all the sections of the lens, except the barrel, and allows the lens to be extended from the closed position (150 mm) to the fully extended position (600). When you extend the zoom, the barrel does not have a coat.An wrap does come with the LensCoat lens cover that you can wrap around the barrel when fully extended. The wrap is fastened with Velcro. With the wrap in place, the barrel can not be retracted. If you leave this wrap off, you can freely move the barrel (zoom).

Q: 8. Will these fit a Gitzo Systematic Series 2? Model number is Gitzo GT2542S. It's listed as a accessory on that page even though it is discontinued, but I want to be sure. I thought the Systematics might have thicker legs.

A: I bought these to go onto a RRS TVQ-14 tripod, but they were too long, so I've reordered shorter ones. I don't know about the Gitzo.

Q: 9. How does this LensCoat get installed on the lens. I never used one before and have no idea how you apply it to the lens? A little help would be nice please. Thanks for your time and effort. Cliff Z

A: The Lenscoat product arrives in small sections. Before putting it on the lens, its best to match up each section of the coat with the appropriate section of the lens it is to go on. Each section will be evident as to what part of the lens it is to be placed on. As far as putting the coat on the lens itself goes, its much like putting on a sweatband on your wrist or head. Just stretch the neoprene out a bit and lift the first section over the circumfrence of the lens, and pull it back to its apporpriate position.

Q: 10. Would this fit Sigma 15-600mm Contemporary with Hood reversed and tripod collar with arca-swiss plate mounted to it?

A: No, the LensCoat LensPouch (Extra-Large Wide, Black) is too small for the Sigma 15-600mm Contemporary with Hood reversed and tripod collar with arca-swiss plate mounted to it.

[Camouflage] I purchased this product specifically for when I want to carry my camera with my 70-200 2.8 lens attached and I am limited to the size of a case. This works perfectly. Works with my camera strap and protects the bangs and bumps so I am more comfortable with it than without it.

[Camouflage] I was worried that this wouldn't be big enough for my everyday walk-around rig, given some of the other comments. I'm carrying a 5DII with an old Canon 28-300 monster in my purse with this for protection from purse trash. The specs/measurements indicated that this would be an exact fit for the lens, and I'm happy to say that it's actually a little roomy with plenty of space for the hood to live in the BodyBag as well and rattle around if I don't screw it on. The pro fit is also perfect for my old camera with any hand strap attached. It's perfect for my use.

[Camouflage] My use case:

- I'm not a pro
- I will not be carrying / exchanging other lenses
- I might carry a spare battery
- I will have 2 SD cards installed in the camera and don't plan to carry others
- I will generally not be setting up in a specific spot / tripod; I will be sight-seeing, walking, etc, and trying to capture wildlife or scenery at some distance with a 100-400mm zoom lens
- for macro or normal/wide angle shots, I will likely be using my iPhone
- I will be wearing a backpack for other purposes: water bottle, clothing, carry-on

So, the point is that I will not be carrying a lot of accessories, and I want the camera to be ready to use around my shoulder. Or, I'd like the option to retreat the camera into my backpack when not in use for an extended period. But either way, I still want to have some minimal protection from splashes, bumps, direct sun, etc.

This product seems to work. I had something similar for my 270mm Tamron zoom with my Rebel. The shoulder strap connects directly to the camera and fits out the small openings under the back-flap, which Velcros closed. In a pinch, I could let the case dangle from my camera strap from the included tether, so I don't have to figure out where to put it if I whip out the camera from the case to start shooting. Or, just un-tether the case and throw it in my backpack, where it won't take up much space.

The length is long enough, btw, so that I don't have to remove the lens hood. Overall, it's a bit roomy for my Canon R7+Canon RF 100-400mm, even with the lens hood installed. But the smaller alternative B&H has is just too tight around the battery grip, and fairly snug around the lens cap area. So I had to go bigger.

Would be nice if there was a little pocket in there for small accessories like the spare battery or SD card; fortunately, I have room for stuff like that in pockets of my backpack. But I really don't want a SECOND bag to carry around just for the camera.

This works.

[Camouflage] Swallowed a Nikon D810 + battery grip + Nikon 70-200mm f4 lens in one easy gulp. Nice jostle protection. Will be great with other such covers in an unpadded case. I wouldn't expect much for a drop to concrete though.

[Camouflage] Like using these for protection from bumps, dings and dirt. Wish they were a bit grippier on the inside to prevent sliding, but still a great product.

[Camouflage] This is for my 500mmf/4 Canon Lens, and it fits perfectly. Even with my lens hood on it. I like that I can protect my lens better, especially when traveling, it's light weight,, and easy to put on and off.

[Camouflage] Nice quality, snug fit, protects against bumps and scratches. I own three more for different lenses and will continue to buy the LensCoat covers.
