The best I can recommend is if you have your lens cap, look on the inside of the lens cap to see if the lens cap/filter thread size is listed inside the lens cap. Multi-coated filters benefit from water repellency, scratch resistance, and reduction of solar flair. If the non-multi coated filter is on top of a multi-coated filter, then the top lens will be be susceptible to water smear and scratches, but the stack-up will benefit from solar flair reduction.
