Q: 9. Will it work with a Nikon D7200 Contemporary lens?

A: Yes, this is compatible. This remote includes 2 cables in the box. A Nikon 10-pin and a Nikon DC-2. The D7200 has a DC-2 connector.

Q: 10. I got this but the cord wont let me align my L bracket accordingly unless I put the L onto the other side of the camera. Is there other cables I can get which have a better range of motion so I can correctly use my L bracket?
