A: The Korg B2SPBK 88-Key Digital Piano has a USB Type-B connector to enable connection wit a computer.

Q: 3. Does this come with the pedals as well?

A: This digital piano comes with the stand and 3 pedals (damper, soft, sostenuto,) as pictured.

Q: 4. Deciding between the Recital and the concert models. is the key feel very different? hammer vs semiweighted adustable feel

A: Yes, there is a difference in the feel of the hammer action and semi-weighted keys on the Alesis Recital Pro and Concert 88-Key Digital Pianos. Hammer action keys can also be referred to as "fully-weighted" and the keys are heavier and can be harder to press down than semi-weighted keys which are lighter and very easy to press. Hammer action keyboards are often favored by players who have experience playing a traditional acoustic piano as this type of keyboard requires more strength and finger dexterity. There are also players who prefer the ease of semi-weighted keys. The sound of the piano can be the same whether the keyboard has hammer action or semi-weighted keys. Keyboards with semi-weighted keys are typically lighter, less expensive, and more portable. This is also true for the Alesis Recital Pro and Concert 88-Key Digital Pianos. There is a considerable difference in the weight of the two models. The Recital Pro weighs 26 pounds while the Concert model weighs 15.6 pounds.

Q: 5. Can this piano be connected to a wireless Bluetooth external speaker?

A: No. The Casio WU-BT10 Wireless Bluetooth MIDI and Audio Adapter that is included with the Casio Privia PX-S1100 Digital Piano cannot be used to send audio from the piano to a wireless Bluetooth speaker. The Bluetooth adapter is used to send and receive MIDI wirelessly to and from other Bluetooth-MIDI-compatible gear. It also allows you play music from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device through the built-in speaker system on the PX-S1100

Q: 6. Are the keys weighted?

A: The Keys one the Recital Pro 88 are full weighted hammer graded action keys.

Q: 7. how to control rise and fall of rotary speaker?

A: This can controled with both the drawbars and the effect channel.

Q: 8. Is the stand for the keyboard made out of wood or metal?

A: Yes the Yamaha stand L-85 Stand thats included with this package is made out of wood.

Q: 9. Can I get a black wooden stand for the Alesis Concert keyboard?

A: Unfortunately Alesis does not make a wooden stand for the Concert. We do offer digital pianos that do have wooden stands, but the are quite a bit more expensive than the Concert. They do, however, offer many features besides the stand that are important to a piano player, like weighted keys and better response. Q: 10. Does it have a headphone jack?

A: Hi, yes this Korg Digital Piano does have a 1/4" headphone output jack. Thank you for shopping at B&H!

[GM] Love this digital Piano. I have a Yamaha Acoustic Piano to compare to. This korg 389u has outstanding key action and sound. I am extremely pleased with my korg 380u. 73 yr old 4th year student with weekly lessons. Get up early to practice and now I won't wake up my wife .

[Yes] This is the only budget DP which provides proper hammer response and repetitive notes (trills).
comparison:
Kawai RHC action - proper hammer response but no repetitiveness

Casio Scaled Hammer Action - modified hammer response
Roland PHA-4 action - no hammer response at all
Yamaha GHS action - no hammer response at all, no repetitiveness

[2x 15 W] I love my Korg LP-380U. I have been playing piano for about one year on a 61-key digital keyboard and decided I needed to upgrade. Wow, what a difference! The Korg LP-380U has fully weighted keys and beautiful sound. It is also a compact size that easily fits in small spaces. Highly recommended and I also highly recommend B&H. They are the best!

[1x USB-B (MIDI)] That's it. Sounds great. Plays like a grand piano - action is on the heavy side, but I like that. Just a few sound options but you can blend two voices for a thicker pad for fun. The main acoustic piano is very nice. Also makes a great controller and sound source as it has the traditional MIDI input and output.

[2x 15 W] This feels just like playing a real piano. Very nice response to force and repetition. I really like the simple, minimal design. I have never had a use for keyboards full of lessons, song demos, cheesy backing tracks, and other unnecessary clutter (The D1 does have demo stuff but at least it's out of the way). This still has plenty of useful features to control, such as the metronome, tunings, and lots of options for combining sounds. That being said, it would be a nice touch if parameters of some of the sounds could be changed like on the real instruments, like the organs or electric pianos. But that's not a huge deal since I didn't buy this to have total control over every aspect of the sound - I mainly just wanted a realistic piano (but I do especially like the Rhodes and 60s electric piano). The only annoyance I have found so far is that there is a subtle high pitch frequency that is audible through headphones. It's not particularly loud or noticeable at normal volumes and it didn't seem worth it to go to the trouble of sending this big thing back and exchanging it. It is easily removed with an EQ adjustment if you're recording or playing through an amp but still slightly disappointing since everything else about this piano is so enjoyable. I'm still giving 5 stars with the assumption that it is just an isolated problem and not something found in all of them. The included pedal works well - it does not do half pedaling so if you want the full real piano experience, you'll have to upgrade the pedal. Overall, very happy with the purchase - looks great, sounds great, feels great.

[2x 15 W] My son, who is used to playing on a baby grand, is thrilled with this keyboard. He wanted a keyboard to be able to play in his room, compose, record, etc. He loves the feel of the weighted keys and the different sound options (upright piano, old fashioned piano, etc.). I heard him playing the Minute Waltz and Maple Leaf Rag, and it sounded wonderful.

[1x 1/4" Sustain] I am just learning the piano as an older adult after all these years. I did a lot of research into various makes and models. What it came down to was the reality that to start out, the key action is the most important aspect of a piano, with sound coming a close second. The RH3 piano bed on the Korg D1 feels absolutely amazing! Well balanced and smooth as silk. This is the same keyboard they use in the SV2 Vintage Piano. It's weighted and will help you develop good technique. And the sounds! I have read reviews that said the sounds are dated. Not the case at all. Particularly the organs and the e-pianos are marvelous. You will not be disappointed. My piano was delivered in great shape with no damage. I am thoroughly enjoying myself!
