This 2-pack of CAMVATE 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Tripod Adapter 2-Packfrom CAMVATE 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Tripod Adapter 2-Packenables you to mount a camera, tripod head, or other accessory with a 1/4"-20 thread onto a tripod or other support with a 3/8"-16 screw. [0.085 lb] I purchased these because I recently purchased a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515 camera and the tripod mount was bigger than the standard 1/4 inch tripod mount but wanted a way to adapt it to a regular tripod mount. These work perfectly. They are a little longer than I need but if it becomes a problem, I can just cut them a little shorter. The camera hardly weighs anything so I'm not worried about the weight but now I can shoot tripod mounted since the shutter speed times on the Nettar 515 are pretty slow and I'm usually in the woods/nature taking my pictures. Would buy again if needed but since the package comes with two, I probably won't need any more anytime soon. Product appears to be of high quality though. Well made. 5

[2.75 x 2 x 0.7"] This adapter is the longest one I have seen. It gives me peace of mind because the other adapters are shorter with very little thread, and I fear the threads in the other adapters will strip with heavier cameras. The CAMVATE adapter also has a slot for a large screwdriver or a quarter will work too. The adapter has a small collar that keeps it from going to deep into the tripod head. 5
