Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. It Is Compatible with canon M50?

A: Pentax DSLR Leather Hand Strap is compatible with the Canon EOS M50 camera.

Q: 2. How do you put it on the camera? It did not come with directions for those of us that has never used one.

A: The base of the Pentax DSLR Leather Hand Strap screws into the female 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the base of your camera. The top of the strap would connect to the camera strap lug or strap D-ring via the strap portion of the hand strap. You can unfasten the button on the Pentax DSLR Leather hand strap and unthread the strap from the plastic strap holder, then thread it through your camera's strap lug, and re-connect the strap depending on how loose/tight you want the strap against your hand. While we do not have an instruction manual for this particular strap, below is a link to the instruction manual of a similar strap, the Vello Hand Grip Strap with Arca-Style Quick Release Plate, B&H # VEPGSP; https://bhpho.to/3IMCMKt

Q: 3. What are some regular wrist straps that would work with the QR on this?

A: The qr is a unique design and no other strap will work with it.

Q: 4. Will this support the weight of a Fujifilm FinePix XP130/XP140? The mass of the XP130/XP140 is 0.2074 kilograms.

A: According to the manufacturer the load rating is 0.5lb or 200g.

Q: 5. does anyone know if this can hold a insta360 one x with the dive case on?

A: This strap holds 11oz, if your gear is less than that, it will hold it.

Q: 6. Others have mentioned difficulty in installing to the camera; what are the installation issues?

A: We have never had any issues with the device

Q: 7. Would this work with the BMPCC 6K Pro? Thanks

A: The Kenko DSLR Hand Strap (Black) does work with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro (Canon EF).

Q: 8. Is the GoPro handler good for scuba diving or is it too buoyant?

A: I've used it scuba diving and buoyancy is not a problem. I tighten the strap around my wrist and forget about it until I need to use the camera.

Q: 9. Does this grip work with a battery grip attached to the camera? Specifically a K-3 with a D-BG5?

A: This model would not work with the Grip Attached. I would recommend going with the Vello Hand Grip Strap for Vertical Battery Grip. Website link: http://bhpho.to/1eTKVGj

Q: 10. What weight will this strap support? Looking at an Olympus Tough TG-4.

A: This strap supports up to 8.2 oz. This strap would support that camera just fine.

[Yes] Outstanding. I took it on a cruise, went diving and it performed like it should. Took it out of my wrist and up it went saving my camera. Highly recommended.

[0.1 lb] keep track of your camera while snorkeling. light weight. works well in the ocean or pool.

[0.1 lb] It works well. Orange is rather an obnoxious color, but should prove helpful if you should drop your camera with it attached. The clasp holding the float to the camera seems durable enough, but time will tell.

[Yes] A float is essential for an underwater camera. Else you could lose your investment AND those great photos you've taken. So I bought a big float at a boating store. It wasn't until after several uses that I wondered whether the float would actually support the camera. A five-gallon bucket provided the test site...and the camera sunk. It was easy to find the weight of my Canon D20 camera, 8 oz., in the manual and online. Lots of sites sell these floats but B&H is the only one to actually list what weight each supports. The other review comments apply--the wrist strap is huge and doesn't necessarily tighten enough for small hands but it works fine for me.

[Yes] I love it ! Dropped my camera in the ocean a few times and this little strap made it easy to find floating on the water.

[Yes] This is so awesome! You attach it to your camera and your camera floats. We were snorkeling in deep oceans, and if this camera fell, it would be lost forever. This is a simple investment to prevent that. Even in bigger waves, the camera stays afloat. It is nice to hit record, let the camera float, and watch the video afterwards.
