The Chimera Chain Urban Series Window Pattern 16"is an ideal way to break up a dull background and add a location look to studio shots. The way the system works, each size frame requires a window holder - basically black fabric with an opening for the pattern appropriate to its size. Pattern holders are available separately or in kits.

Both the 48 x 48" and 42 x 42" frame sizes use the 22 x 22" patterns while the 16 x 16" size patterns are compatible with the 24 x 24" frame only. The lightweight durable patterns fit the frames via touch-fasteners and quickly roll up for transport and storage. Patterns can be doubled up for a unique look and used with a wide variety of color gels.

[0.5 lb] I got tired of my 48 umbrellas blowing over in the wind, even with a 12 lb. weighted bag on the bottom of my light stand. No such issues with this softbox. It puts out really good light quality. I will be using this little gem a lot from now on! 5

[0.5 lb] I already have the maxi which I use as a key light and have added this as a fill light. I run Nikon SSB-800 speedlights in both and use the creative lighting system in the speedlights and D200s. Works like a charm for portrature and smaller wedding groups. 5

[0.5 lb] The design is ideal for the sketch artist. The laptop compartment holds a 14.5 x 11 x 1/2 inch pad snuggly. The grid holds every pencil, eraser, sharpener, etc. within easy sight and reach. The shoulder pad is very comfortable. The workmanship and materials look good on first day, I am curious to see how it holds up. 5

[Synthetic] I've owned several sleeves and this is by far the best I've owned. The protection is excellent, even at the zipper. The external storage pocket is super handy and has a tiny pocket inside for SD cards or similar. The handle lets me carry this like a brief case, so I rarely us my laptop backpack anymore. Buy this one. Trust me. 5
