The support consists of a solid aluminum bridge plate with 15mm rod clamps on either end, and two 15mm rods measuring 11.8" in length install into those rod clamps.

The camera mounts onto a baseplate with a Manfrotto-style quick release plate, and the baseplate can slide back and forth along the rods depending on the size of your camera and lens. A Y-shaped lens support mounts onto the rods to support the weight of your lens. There are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom of the bridge plate to mount the entire system onto a tripod or other rig.
