The Saramonic High-Wind Furry Windshield Lavalier Mics 3-Packis a furry windshield that easily slips right over a lavalier microphone foam windscreen to drastically reduce wind noise when shooting outdoor in high-wind environments.

Thanks to its long-haired exterior, the windshield offers sonic protection by diffusing and reducing wind-borne sounds by up to 40 dB. Elastic fastening bands help keep the windshield securely attached during operation.

This pack contains three SR-WS2 windshields.

[0.07 oz / 2 g] I actually bought this for the new videomic II. I think that's the model. The rode one wasn't available yet. Just fits. Haven't had it in strong wind, but I am sure it will be better than nothing. :-) 5

[40 dB, Maximum] My first recording with out a microphone was a hot noisy mess. The XM1 cleared that up right away. My only complaint is the lack of a furry wind cover. This purchase alleviated the wind noise completely. 5

[0.04 lb] I am not an audio specialist, the tests I have done with regular wind have attenuated the noise quite a bit, although if the wind is strong it can be heard. It gives a very good presence and should be placed over the foam of the microphone. No soy un especialista en audio las pruebas que le he hecho con viento regular ha atenuado bastante el ruido aunque si el viento es fuerte si se escucha. Da muy buena precencia y se debe poer encima del foam del microfono 5

[0.07 oz / 2 g] Bought for a lav mic. Fits the recorder, mic, and wind covers and tape with a little room left to spare. Inner straps aren't very helpful for my gear as its too small for the straps, but I mostly just need the case to keep my gear from being squished. 5
