Designed to cover the VistaVision frame, the Leitz Cine 350mm T3.6 Prime Lens LPL Mountfeatures a stainless steel ARRI LPL mount, a T3.6 maximum aperture, and provides the same image characteristics that Leitz is known for. Projecting a usable image circle of 46.5mm in diameter, it is compatible with virtually any camera with an LPL lens port, and an optional LPL to PL adapter will allow you to use the lens with the ARRI ALEXA LF and LF Mini. Each lens incorporates geared focus and iris control rings which share the same position among every lens in the set, so swapping lenses can be done without having to adjust your follow focus or lens control system.

The lens features an internal focus design with a durable cam-follower mechanism which provides the lens with a non-rotating front, perfect for clip-on matte boxes. A generous number of focus marks are distributed along the focus scales, and 270° of focus rotation makes for accurate focus pulls. The 114mm diameter front is standard across the set of lenses, which also speeds up lens changes when working with a matte box.

A: You are correct on the numbers of both image circles. Since all that is needed is a lens image circle that is bigger than the sensor image circle, you are good to go in this instance.

A: At this time there are no known plans to update/modify the Leitz Cine 35mm M 0.8 f/1.4 Full Frame M-Mount Lens.

A: Yes, this can work with any M-Mount camera.

A: No, only the THALIA, M 0.8, Leitz Prime, and Leitz Zoom lenses cover a full frame sensor. Full frame sensors require lenses with an image circle of around 43mm.

A: Lens will work just like any "M" series unit offering a full frame 35mm coverage. The only difference is this is not a photo lens but an actual cine lens.

[46.5 mm] Having dealt with adapters over many years, you know that nothing comes close to a PL mount (don't get me started on positive lock EF, not even close... plus even Canon has kicked EF to the curb). LPL now takes PL and makes it literally bigger and better. For whatever reason, changing PL lenses always took a while to get it to sit in perfect for the lock to work, but so far with LPL it's been a piece of cake every time. Maybe that's an added bonus thanks to the rear guide? Anyhow, you may be thinking well the LPL to L is still a click-in adapter to the camera body. Correct, but Ron has created a collar that allows you to bolt the collar down to a plate along with the camera cage, then tighten the collar on the adapter and it's not moving. To be honest, even without the collar, these mounts are super accurate, so very little play with them to start with, but the collar just locks everything down tight. I always hated when using a follow focus (especially a focus motor) and every time you made an adjustment it shifted the lens in the mounts. Even the tiniest bit of movement showed up in the shot, so when you have two weak points, you get a lot of movement when you throw in some torque. With this setup, any movement between the lens and camera is now completely gone. I bought 4 LPL to L mounts and collars, instantly you should realize that is a big investment, but 100% worth it. Every time I use them, they make me happy, so thank you Ron and crew for continuing to push this industry forward!! 5

[21] This is a perfect step up from photo lenses into Cine lenses. If your wondering if you will see a difference between a set of Sigma Art glass and this... You will! I personally think the falloff and flaring on these lenses are perfect for the Modern/vintage blend with a slightly warmer tone then DZO Primes I find these to be a little more welcoming to skin tones. If you're wondering if this is worth the price tag. I'd say so! 5

[Large Format] shot with lens and totally surprised with the bokeh as good as it's from the still leica M camera lenses and S lenses even it's a wide angle the bokeh still shows blued well in the background I can't imaging how good is the 1.4 version of summilux c .... 5

[Imperial] I have so many vintage lenses and I want to convert them all into LPL mount. And I love and trust Simmod. This adapter is expensive, yes, should it worth this much? No. But itâs made of very high quality materials. Not sure if itâs the L mount or this adapter but it wiggles just a tiny bit. Tiny but itâs there. Doesnât bother me. My next step will be getting their conversion kit for FD SSC lenses. Then this expensive purchase will become more valuable. Also, super happy that Simmod partnered with BH! This way I can get all the simmod parts, accessories with free shipping and no tax with Payboo! 5
